Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I pay my deposit and the hate the hair and makeup?
If you email me within seven days of your trial to cancel your booking I will refund your deposit minus the cost of the trial.
Where does the trial take place and can I bring a friend?
Usually I host trials in my home studio in Welling , South East London I think bringing a supportive friend along is great idea.
Do I have to book a trial?
As I offer a bespoke service a trial is really important. I aim to host all trials in the morning so you can test the hair and makeup throughout the whole day and night- it's a great trial run for your big day!
What if I'm not sure the look we create at the trial is THE look I should go for?
After every trial I always have notes on how I will tweak the look to make it look even better on the big day. I ask brides for their feedback so we can ensure you feel as incredible as you look!
I have a large wedding party that also want hair and makeup. Do you have an assistant?
Yes, for larger parties and early call times I will arrange for an assistant.
Do you charge mileage and travel time?
All weddings booked within central London - no travel time charge. Outside of London and over 5 miles from my base, I charge mileage and travel time.
What if you get sick on my wedding day?
In 15 years since I started doing weddings, I've never had to let a bride down. If something awful happens and I'm unable to join you, I have a bank of trusted MUA friends who I'm confident would be able and willing to come to your rescue.
What if you're late?
I only book one wedding per day and always check travel updates in good time before I leave. I always build in additional cushion of time to allow for delays.
