- Tom Wyatt Co.
Tom Wyatt is a Nottingham wedding photographer working across the UK and Internationally, with a focus on a modern, editorial wedding photography style.
My approach is to tell a narrative in which you look effortlessly elegant with a combination of warm, rich tones and timeless black and whites.
Your wedding day story will be documented with care from the very start, where I don’t just want to learn about your plans but your personalities too. Each and every wedding is treated as a bespoke experience so that I can capture your connection authentically and deliver not only a product, but an experience.
I look beyond what’s in front of me and see the nuances – the fleeting touches, waist clutches and face blushes; I don’t just want to capture how things look but how they feel too. This approach blended with years of experience in understanding light and composition come together to form my signature style that has now gratified almost 100 couples. But don’t just take my word for it.
“We honestly can’t sing Tom’s praises highly enough. The photos are next level – so unbelievably good”.
“On the day, Tom was so lovely and made us both feel relaxed and comfortable. I was very nervous in the morning and Tom went out of his way to make me feel at ease”.
“Tom really went over, above and beyond, and exceeded all expectations”.
How long will you be with us?
Typically I'll arrive 2 hours before the ceremony and leave around half an hour after the first dance. However if I feel like there's more to capture to create the best album possible I'll stick around as long as it doesn't interfere with travel arrangements
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm Nottingham based and yes I love to travel! I include travel costs up to 50 miles from Nottingham, and charge £1 per mile after that.
How long after our wedding will we receive our photographs?
You will receive your fully edited images within 6 - 8 weeks.
Are you insured?
Of course! I hold full public liability insurance which can be provided to the venue upon request.
What's your booking process?
I’ll send you over a small digital contract for you to review, as well as an invoice to cover the £200 deposit which is taken off the full price. Once I’ve received both of these, your date will be fully booked in for you. The next step will be to book in either a coffee catch up or Skype chat so that we can get to know each other and discuss the details of your day in detail. This typically takes place about a month before your wedding. The final balance of your package will then be due 6 weeks before your wedding date.
What if we're nervous in front of the camera?
Almost every couple I work with says the same thing, but look back on their wedding photos with a huge grin. Not only because I create a rapport with you before your wedding day so you feel like I'm just a friend with a camera, but because over the years I've learned ways of nudging you in the right direction and little prompts that will make even the most camera shy couples look like models.
