Hi, I’m Umberto a wedding and portrait photographer based in the heart of Monferrato, in the Piedmont countryside of northern Italy.

I photograph couples who laugh easily, who love the open air, and who live with a quiet kind of authenticity. Over the years I’ve built a way of working that keeps the couple at the centre never the photographer. What comes out of it is a story told through real glances, unguarded gestures and natural light.

There’s a personal reason I wanted to be here, among the Love My Dress community. I’ve spent a lot of time in the British countryside over the years, and I’ve always loved the way of life there unhurried, warm, deeply at home outdoors. Every single time, I felt like I belonged. This is my way of returning that welcome: to the couples who choose Italy for their wedding, I’d love to offer the same feeling rolling hills, open skies, vineyards stretching to the horizon, and a landscape made for celebrating in the open air.
