About the Venue
Bredon Manor is a beautiful, exclusive-use Cotswolds wedding venue set within a private Georgian family estate in the Gloucestershire countryside, near Cheltenham. With its historic Manor House, traditional stone barn, landscaped gardens and outdoor swimming pool, the estate offers couples the opportunity to celebrate their wedding over an entire weekend.
Couples can marry at St Giles’ Church next door, with a private gate leading directly from the churchyard into the Manor gardens. Alternatively, celebrant-led ceremonies can take place in the grounds or barn, following a legal ceremony elsewhere.
The stone wedding barn accommodates up to 80 guests for a seated wedding breakfast and 100 for an evening reception. For larger weddings, a marquee on the front lawn can accommodate up to 150 guests.
Exclusive weekend hire includes accommodation across two self-catering cottages and bedrooms within the Georgian Manor, with space for up to 16 guests. Couples have use of the gardens throughout their stay, including the sunken rose garden, lawns and swimming pool. There is also the option to host a welcome gathering on Friday evening or extend the celebrations with a relaxed Sunday lunch or poolside barbecue.
Bredon Manor works exclusively with Napier for wedding catering, offering everything from formal wedding breakfasts to informal dining and late-night food. Couples are free to choose their other wedding suppliers and can bring their own wine and champagne without corkage charges.
Hosting only a limited number of weddings each year, Bredon Manor offers a personal approach to planning, with an experienced venue coordinator available to assist with preparations and arrangements on the day.

Can we legally marry at Bredon Manor?
Bredon Manor is not licensed for civil ceremonies. Couples can marry at St Giles’ Church immediately next door and walk into the gardens through our private gate. Alternatively, couples can complete the legal ceremony beforehand and hold a celebrant-led blessing in the grounds or Barn.
How many guests can Bredon Manor accommodate?
The Barn seats up to 80 guests for dinner and accommodates up to 100 for the evening. For larger weddings, a marquee on the front lawn can accommodate up to 150 seated and evening guests.
Do we need to have a marquee?
No. The Barn can accommodate weddings of up to 80 seated guests. A marquee is required for more than 80 seated guests and can accommodate up to 150. As a guide, a marquee seating 120 costs approximately £8,500 including VAT, including flooring, lighting, a bar and power. The final cost depends on its size and specification.
Is accommodation included?
Yes. The Coach House and Manor House Lodge sleep eight guests on Friday and Saturday nights. Two bedrooms in the Manor are also included on Saturday, bringing the Saturday total to 12. Optional Manor bedrooms can increase the accommodation to 16 guests.
Do we have to use particular suppliers?
Napier is our exclusive caterer and creates each menu around the couple and their celebration. Every other supplier remains your choice, although we can recommend experienced people who know the estate.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Yes. We do not charge corkage, so couples are welcome to bring their own wine and champagne.
Can we hold events on Friday or Sunday?
Yes. Couples can add a relaxed Friday welcome reception or a Sunday celebration beside the pool. These start from £3,000 including VAT for up to 50 guests. Larger events cost £4,800 including VAT and can accommodate up to 150 guests on Friday or 100 on Sunday.
How much does it cost to hire Bredon Manor?
Exclusive-use weekend hire starts from £14,995 including VAT for 2027 and £15,595 including VAT for 2028. A £2,700 supplement applies to July, August and bank-holiday weekends. The hire fee includes accommodation, long tables and chairs for 80, venue coordination, Friday set-up access, a PA system and microphone in the Barn, security support and parking for up to 50 cars.
