WHAT TIME DO CELEBRATIONS NEED TO END?
We ask that the music gets turned down to a low level at 12.30 and those not staying at Plas Dinam leave, “carriages- 12.30am”. The bar will also close by 12.30. We are happy for you to stay in the Stables with friends and family that are staying onsite, with the music at a quiet level, until you need to go to bed! It is really important that there is no loud music or noise after 1am, as we really do not want to upset our neighbours.
ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
Dogs are welcome and allowed in the house. The boot room is perfect for them to stay in and they may go on the non carpeted areas of downstairs including the kitchen and games rooms but not the main sitting rooms or upstairs. We charge £45 for a dog. Maximum 3 dogs.
IS THERE HEATING IN THE STABLES?
We have 2 x Marquee heaters on the back wall of the stables which blow heat in through vents. We also have 4 infra red heat lamps on the open side of the Stables which we can turn on when the canvas blinds come down to make the Stables enclosed.
Some couples bring a selection of shawls & blankets which they set up in the Stables for guests to help themselves to, and we recommend you tell your guests to bring a jacket just in case.
WHAT IS THE EARLIEST TIME WE CAN ARRIVE?
The official arrival time is 4.00pm. However, it is sometimes possible arrive earlier. We suggest you get in touch 2- 3 weeks before your booking for a more accurate time. The Stables will nearly always be available from 12pm on the day of your arrival day so you can begin decorating before moving into the house.
Set in spectacular scenery in Mid Wales, Plas Dinam is a beautiful mansion with a unique Glass Roof Stables wedding space. Friendly and family run, you have the freedom to make the house your own over your wedding weekend, choose your own suppliers, bring your own drinks and party the night away in the Stables.
Outdoor ceremonies can enjoy the backdrop of the wild flower meadow and mountains, or indoors the gracious rooms. The 3 large reception rooms are perfect for drinks inside, or relax on the lawn with amazing views.
The recent renovation of the Stables with fab new lighting, glass roof, heating and quirky loos, has created a unique and exciting space for wedding receptions. The dance floor is surrounded by original tiles that reflect light and add a beautiful oak floor and you have just the space to party.
Plas Dinam has 15 lovely big bedrooms sleeping up to 34 and the option to self cater so you can relax and enjoy a unique wedding weekend with family and friends.

The perfect wedding venue:
This really is the ideal wedding venue. We rented the whole house from Wednesday to Sunday, which was the perfect way to extend the celebrations. Our guests filled every bedroom and raved about their stay. Each room has its own look and feel, and the views of the grounds are breath taking. We also rented out the lodge and glamping tents, which were amazing and meant that we could have lots of our family and friends on site with us, too. The entire team at Plas Dinam were incredibly helpful from start to finish and made the entire planning process stress-free. The house is filled with everything you could possibly need for your stay - including a pizza oven! The stables, where we had our reception, is a blank canvas, so you can be as creative with the space as you like, which we loved. The location is stunning, with beautiful walks nearby. We can't recommend it enough!

Unique and beautiful venue:
Plas Dinam was the perfect wedding venue. We rented the whole house from Friday to Sunday and filled the bedrooms with guests which made for a great extended weekend of celebrations. Katie and Eldrydd really helped us make the place feel like our own and we felt so relaxed and comfortable whilst planning and during the weekend itself. They were also on hand and happy to help with anything we needed. When looking at other venues we found it was rare to truly have such a beautiful venue and then be able to build your own unique wedding day from scratch with as much or as little guidance as wanted or needed. Would highly recommend as a wedding venue.

A Dream Venue:
We got married here just over a month ago and could not be happier we chose Plas Dinam! It is so relaxed, you really can make your wedding exactly whatever you want it to be!
Our ceremony was in the drawing room looking out onto the welsh countryside, it fit our 80 guests perfectly with the sun shining through the windows and our friend playing the grand piano in the room. The house is huge, by the time we left we were still getting lost! Every room is beautiful! The glass roofed stables for the reception is such a different but perfect space. Other than our wedding day we were unlucky with the weather, but the indoor spaces meant that we still had a brilliant time for the four days we were there. One of the things that really makes Plas Dinam stand out is the people, we had some bad luck with other venues, but from the second we spoke to Eldrydd and Louise we knew they would look after us, and they certainly did. I can’t tell you how important this was. I have added a few pictures, but once you see this place you won’t look any where else!
