The Talbooth Restaurant is a beautiful, rustic, half-timbered Essex wedding venue with a riverside setting, just a stones’ throw from London, that along with it’s seasonal and creative menu, provides a picture-perfect location for couples looking to get married in the East of England. Accommodating up to 130 guests for a civil ceremony, or up to 160 for a wedding reception, the Restaurant & Marquee venues combined blend the characteristic charm of Talbooth Restaurant’s 16th century architecture, with our signature stylish interiors. Situated within the grounds of Talbooth Restaurant, our Marquee enjoys an unrivalled position on the banks of the River Stour. Accommodating 50-160 guests, the marquee is a flexible space in which to entertain guests throughout the day and into the evening. With over 70 years’ experience, food is an area we’re particularly passionate about.
