Wasing Park, the nationally renowned luxury wedding venue nestled in the Berkshire countryside, invites you to their September Showcase, Forever. Wasing Park will shine a spotlight on sustainability, celebrating English cut flowers from the Walled Garden, alongside a host of exquisite offerings, including Estate-to-Plate dining, extended celebrations and charming new award-winning wedding favours.
From florals to sustainably sourced wedding décor, discover how to create a beautiful, timeless celebration that’s also kind to the planet. The Grade II-listed Castle Barn will be exquisitely styled by talented florists, featuring elegant seasonal arrangements offering thoughtful inspiration for weaving conscious choices into your special day.
After a tour of the venue, enjoy a signature Wasing cocktail, featuring Gold Award-winning Wasing Blackberry and Nettle Gin, alongside a selection of delicious canapés beneath the flowing stretch tent on the Castle Barn terrace, where you can meet with the team and start planning your happily ever after.
Nestled in the picturesque Berkshire countryside in Aldermaston, Wasing Park offers a stunning barn venue for your wedding. The expansive grounds are filled with historical charm, including the Victorian Summerhouse and Castle Barn. If you’re dreaming of a wedding day in a magical, secluded setting, this venue is an ideal choice!
Facilities and Capacity
The Garden Room is a warm and characterful space to hold your civil ceremony at Wasing Park. Set within tranquil gardens, its rustic oak beams, aged brickwork and contemporary walls of glass bi-fold doors boast views of the Castle Barn making for a beautifully customisable space to encapsulate your dream day. For those dreaming of an outdoor ceremony, the Victorian Summerhouse in the Terrace Garden is licensed for weddings.
Surrounded by lush greenery and adorned with beautiful murals, it provides a romantic outdoor backdrop. If a traditional church ceremony feels more fitting, the 15th-century Parish Church of St. Nicholas, located on the estate, features stunning stained-glass windows and a charming white timber-clad turret.
At the heart of Wasing Park is the Castle Barn, blending modern chic with traditional design elements. This versatile space is ideal for both the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. The venue’s impressive entrance, with a red brick castle-style tower and arched glass doorway, sets the tone for a memorable day. The Castle Barn’s terrace, complete with sheepskins, twinkling fairy lights, candles, and a fire pit, offers a cozy alfresco space that can be enjoyed year-round.
Services Offered
Wasing Park also offers luxurious boutique accommodations on the estate, providing a peaceful retreat after the excitement of your big day. The Old Estate Rooms feature nine elegant suites, including the Honeymoon Suite, The Dovecote, The Smithy, The Granary, and The Coach House, each with its own unique charm, such as triangular-shaped beds, mezzanines, and freestanding copper baths. For additional guests, 17 beautifully appointed rooms are available in The Stables, The Mews, and The Pump House.
Additionally, there are two self-catering properties on the estate: The Bothy, a cozy two-bedroom cottage in the Walled Garden, and Home Farmhouse, a spacious 6-bedroom cottage just a short walk from the venue. Couples who book The Old Estate Rooms for their wedding night can also enjoy a complimentary stay at Kitts Cottage the night before their wedding – a charming country cottage perfect for pre-wedding relaxation.
