Cutture ~ Bespoke Laser Cut Wedding & Event Stationery…

I do love to feature wonderful stationery on the Love My Dress Wedding Blog, and laser cut stationery happens to be a bit of a weakness of mine.  I marvel at laser cut creations – the intricacy of them, so delicate and exquisite!

My latest fabulous stationery find is CuttureCutture create laser cut stationery for weddings and events, and they are
becoming renowned for quality and design and most importantly, the very
personal service to the client.

Cutture was founded in 2009 by Husband and Wife team Dominic and Helen
Sharland, who work with their team of designers on the Wandsworth Bridge
Road, London. Dominic and Helen originally set up 'Hidden Design Studio'
an Interior Architecture and Graphic Design practice, 8 years ago.
Having purchased a laser cutter for architectural work some time ago, it
began to be used for Graphic design work, and so, after a lot of
tweaking to get the perfect result and by marrying the laser cut
technology with graphic design, Cutture was born.

I spoke to one half of this creative team, Helen Sharland;  "Stationery is the face to your special day, the first taster that your
guests receive is the invitation, the design should be beautiful and
recognisable as ‘you’, this can then follow through within the
stationery and decoration on the wedding day. With stationery from
Cutture we like to think that on top of this you will receive a little
piece of laser cut art, all about your life so far to cherish forever…"

"The most exciting element to Cutture is the absolute freedom that the
Bride and Groom has in the process of creating their wedding stationery.  Often people would like to create the stationery themselves, however
are not sure where to begin, at Cutture we will start the process quite
often by asking for some key images to a couple’s life together which we
will then transform into an illustration which is then laser cut.

This
results in a very special piece of laser cut art for their invitations
and goes through to their entire stationery, which results in a
collection that is solely all about them. For example, we have had
images from travelling photographs, to having to include Milan with
their dog on the North Downs!

As of September, we will be offering a
framed piece of art incorporating their laser cut stationery design as
an addition to their gift list for guests or as a gift to themselves."

"Cutture
uses the highest quality fsc card and are open to any suggestion for
materiality, if a bride or groom would like something completely
different. We also offer a range of acrylic stationery in mirrored or
clear finish, which is very popular for elements, such as table plans
and menus or larger scale decorations. Printing processes range from
digital to silk screen and letter press which all look stunning when
teamed with the laser cut technology."
