It’s a true pleasure to share this glorious Wild Luxe wedding inspiration with you, created by our very own Love My Dress-recommended photographer, Helen Rose.
Helen’s vision for this styled shoot, set in the breathtaking Peak District, perfectly captures the magic of blending wild adventure with refined elegance. A stunning mix of florals, luxurious textures, and carefully selected suppliers brought her dream to life—all set in a place that’s as much about nature’s untamed beauty as it is about sophisticated celebration.
Alongside Helen’s photography, this editorial features the work of several other Love My Dress-recommended vendors from our Directory, including veil designer Rebecca Anne Designs, accessory designer Clare Lloyd, and the most fantastic real petal confetti cannons by Shropshire Petals. Hats off to stylist Cathy of Boelle Events and floral designer Laurenne Hopkins for their sensational creativity also.
I love how these images speak to couples who crave something both wild and luxe, elegant and adventurous. Helen’s concept beautifully marries the beauty of the Peak District’s landscapes with the luxurious touches couples long for, all while showing how effortless it can be to create an unforgettable elopement experience – no matter the size. Enjoy!

As we are seeing other UK destinations grow in popularity with wild and wonderful smaller Weddings and elopements, I have set out to prove that the Peak District National Park isn’t just an easily accessible holiday getaway but in fact a very good option to cut down travel time for an alternative Elopement destination right in the heart of England too!

What is wonderful about a smaller micro-Wedding or elopement is that you cater them to what exactly the couple would like so that they can be as adventurous or luxurious as they like. This shoot was very much a perfect combination of both as I carefully handpicked the most perfect suppliers who I felt would all bring their own amazing element to the Wild yet luxurious look I was going for.

The plan was to start at Wildhive Callow Hall to capture a Ceremony, led by Celebrant Lauren of Your story By Lauren Oldfield, the couple shared some words written on their vow books beautifully created to match their stationery set by Paige and co before exchanging their hand made rings for the occasion from Kate Dawson Jewellery.
My vision ‘wild, luxe and autumnal’ served as the foundation for the styling by Cathy of Boelle Events. Working seamlessly with Laurenne, the florist, we brought her stunning mood board to life, perfectly complementing the beautiful custom made wallpaper of scenes of the Peak District and surrounding area, in the Dovedale Room.

I really wanted a mix of textures with dresses chosen for the day, so chose a dress for the ceremony supplied by Nora Eve Bridal which had combined form fitting rich lace and chiffon textures to it, then a sleek one of theirs for the wedding breakfast to compliment the room and styling finished off with embroidered veils by Rebecca Anne Designs and shoes by Charlotte Mills to complete the look beautifully.

Instead of a suit, I chose a luxurious dark green velvet evening jacket with black trousers and matching bow tie as this tied everything together so beautifully with the colours and added textures, all supplied by Brigdens of Burton.

To bring Helen’s vision to life and complement the beautiful setting at Wildhive Callow Hall, I used lots of rich autumnal florals— deep greens, textural grasses, rich burgundies, golden chrysanthemums, along with dried bracken ferns to nod to the surrounding landscape and town of year. The florals paired so beautifully with the elegant styling and beautiful gentle candlelight stylist Cathy provided.

To elevate the look, I incorporated high-quality linens, patterned napkins, and elegant gold details. The wide table setup allowed us to add depth and create a luxurious, statement-worthy display, complete with an abundance of candles and lush florals.

Both stylist and floral designer agreed how they loved how both the flowers and decor were repurposed by using the same meadows and arch for the ceremony as we did to create the table meadow, then later the used the arch and meadows again to create a show stopping cake display- showing just how couples can make their florals and styling work for them all day long.

The last part of the day involved a complete outfit change to head out to the Peak District with a short hike to the viewpoint which was also on the walls of the Dovedale Room at Wildhive Callow Hall, to capture some images out in nature before the sun set.

I was adamant in choosing a dress for this part of the day that had a lot of impact and could hold its own in the dramatic landscape so felt only natural to use a beautiful Millia London gown in a stunning peach tone to also compliment the colour palette of the flowers.
This was teamed with a stunning exclusive handmade brass crown by Clare Lloyd Accessories along with the head clips and earrings worn at Wildhive.
The groom wears a brown tweed suit with a camel double breasted waistcoat to contrast yet compliment the gorgeous tones of the grasses and rocks with all the textures combined during golden hour.
