Happy lunch time folks. We're on the home stretch now. Not long to hang in there until home time – you can do it! {God, I remember those days!}.
Now, I'm a girl who loves all things that sparkle, and this time of year is an amazing excuse to get your sparkly glad rags and accessories out and twinkle and shine as we enjoy the festive season. I absolutely LOVE to wear anything that sparkles and shines and this season sequins are bigger than ever. Grab an all-over sequin clutch bag to wear with your LBD on your christmas night out or bring an outfit to life with a sparkly pair of heels.
When it comes to your wedding day, there are many ways you can incorporate a bit of sequin and glitter in to your wedding day without going overkill. From the subtle to the spectacular, let's look at a few ideas how…

This gorgeous '90s-does-70s slinky maxi dress' above is from London vintage boutique Juno Says Hello {watch out for more on Juno Says Hello soon on the blog} and is covered all over with sequins that graduate from sliver to pale gold. What an amazing dress choice for the less traditional Bride.
I have to admit, as much as I'm adoring gold right now, I'm a silver kind of girl at heart - my wedding ring is a silver antique art-deco ring for instance, and on my wedding day, I carried an art-deco style silver clutch bag and wore silver Emmy shoes. My most recent sequin purchase was a little 3/4 sleeve evening cardy from Marks and Spencers the other day which was made out of some sequin wool knit – perfect with a dress or with jeans and a top. To be fair, there's nothing that makes me feel more glamorous than wearing a sequin dress. I wore this French Connection dress recently for the opening of Fetcham Park {here I am in the dress itself!}….
I adore the idea of hanging silver glitter balls as venue decor {see 2 below} and I simply love the idea of sprinkling glitter and sequins on tables {see 7 below}. I frankly don't really care how messy it gets! 🙂
Style your peepers with some glittery eye shadow in a silver or gold accent {see 4 below}. Guaranteed to turn heads…

Gold rules though doesn't it, when it comes to all things sparkly and sequined?
Sprinkle your cakes with edible glitter, done sequin frocks on your Bridesmaids or wear a dress similar ot the one below {2} to dance the night away after your evening reception. I'm love love loving the glittery heels around at the moment. I picked up a pair from Dune recently but there are more affordable options available at Primark and Dorothy Perkins {8}.
The bouquet in {3} below isn't strictly sequin or glittery but fit beautifully with the theme – it is by the wonderfully talented Debbie Carlisle…
