Some beautiful images this afternoon from photographer Katherine Newman – with whispers of Marie Antoinette, this shoot was inspired by the French Revolution and set out to showcase the elegant creations of two of my favourite designers, Sally Lacock and HT Headwear.
Helena Talbot from HT Headwear told me more about these images which have been created to inspire brides…
"This shoot was all about decadence and attitude. We took inspiration from the French Revolution but wanted to keep the shoot quite 'real' so brides could relate to it for ideas.
We mixed up the styling by steering away from using all ivory dresses and accessories and adding some punchy colours and fabrics like rich burgundy velvets and tea stained silk…"

"The venue, By Way of the Paradise, was ideal for the backdrop of this shoot, with stunning turqoise walls in one room with stuffed animals and moroccan lighting hanging from the ceiling, such an amazing venue!"
