With this in mind, it's easy to see why Annabel and I have fallen head over heels in love with this beautiful range of accessories. Honestly, it's enough to make me regret my decision to go without a veil on my wedding day! Paying homage to the daring style choices made by the women of the 1920s and 30’s,
as well as the romantic, bohemian spirit of hippies, Nymphi's 2014
collection features intricate lace caps, floral and flapper inspired
head pieces, detailed sparkly sashes and a range of shoulder pieces.
Founded by Barbara Dimitrea in 2006, Nymphi believe that on her wedding day a bride should be the most beautiful
reflection of her true self…
'By using materials in unexpected ways,
we aim to
create the accessories that will make any bride look individual. Nymphi pieces are distinctive because
Barbara likes to create things that have never been
Born into an artistic Greek family and raised in the culturally
and socially infused environment of Chicago, Barbara has been heavily influenced
by both the multicultural urban setting of the city she grew up in and
the rugged Mani Region of Southern Greece where her family originated
from and where she eventually settled.
Like all members of
her family, Barbara has a very artistic soul. She found freedom in creating semi-precious jewellery and, after creating a custom piece for a close friend
that was getting married, it was suggested that she should make
bridal accessories. Barbara quickly realised she had found her calling and
Nymphi was born.
'Our main signature pieces are our Juliet and veil caps as they have a very distinctive Nymphi style. We love creating them. Our new range of shoulder pieces are also fast becoming something that Nymphi is well known for as they allow brides to turn a dress into the one they have dreamt of by adding the desired feel to the neckline.'

You can find a full list of Nymphi stockists here. They also offer a bespoke service if you are looking for something a little different. Prices begin at around £30 for a cuff, but go up to more than a £1000 for a cathedral length silk veil. Annabel and I really love that the collection is so diverse and caters for a range of budgets.
There's plenty more stunning imagery over on the Nymphi website and you can also keep up-to-date via facebook and twitter. Be sure to follow the brand on pinterest for a wealth of wedding inspiration too.
