One of the questions I get asked quite frequently, especially after twelve years in the wedding industry, is ‘don’t you ever get bored with all things bridal?’ My answer is always an emphatic no because how is it possible to tire of weddings when they’re all so incredibly different?
Everyone’s story is unique; no two people arrive at their wedding day having lived the same life as another couple so there’s always interest and excitement.

Based in Warwickshire, sisters Jo and Julie-Anne are fine art photographers who travel throughout the UK and right around the world bringing their brand of creative reportage photography to love-filled weddings. Their one aim is to produce truly delightful images that capture those all-important moments for you forever.
Light & Lace Photography began when Jo took a sabbatical, purchased her first DSLR camera and set off on a tour of the world. Julie soon followed suit, caught the bug and the sisters eventually gave up their full time jobs to pursue their dream.
“We’ve not looked back since!” says Jo. “We feel so lucky to be given the opportunity to do what we love for a living. We’re fine art wedding photographers and our style of using soft, natural light and a distinctive subtle colour palette of bright, warm pastel tones create beautiful and fun photography. That sense of light and vibrancy is certainly apparent when you see images from Light & Lace Photography. I adore the laid-back elegance of the images and every single one is a tempting snippet of a story – you want to know more and you’re drawn in to a classic tale of love.
“We have always been fascinated by the ability that photography has to record a decisive moment, that split second that captures the essence of a person,” says Julie-Anne. “Photography is such a powerful medium. We love being able to create images that show who someone really is.”
