“At the time, Passion for Flowers couples were hiring an array of items from us, saying they couldn’t find anything else as lovely elsewhere in the market,” explains Gemma. “Mum and I both love sourcing decorations and wanted couples all over the country to have access to the details that we’d searched so hard to find and so The Wedding of my Dreams was born.”
“We cater for as many couples as possible by stocking as many styles of products as possible because we know everyone has a different idea of their perfect wedding. You can ‘shop by style’ on our website and we handpick our favorite wedding trends, actively sourcing decorations and details so that couples can create the look that they want at their wedding.”
The Wedding of my Dreams includes some of the most loved styles of the moment including Rustic Chic, Country Garden, Timeless Elegance, Vintage and Winter Woodland not to mention the delights of Luxe Metallics, Mercury Silver and many more. Every decoration stocked by The Wedding of my Dreams is handpicked from UK crafters or sourced from makers around the globe. Some pieces are also designed in house and created exclusively for The Wedding of My Dreams so you’ll be able to create a truly one-off wedding.
“Every week through Passion for Flowers we set up floral creations and style venues so we know what works and what doesn’t. It sounds simple but for example we know that lots of venues don’t allow naked flames so we provide a large collection of tea light holders and lanterns.”
“We know venues don’t always like confetti so our real petal confetti is completely biodegradable and we know what height centrepieces need to be so the don’t completely block the view of the person opposite. It’s just the little things but they can make such a difference.”
And ‘the little things’ as Gemma calls them extend right on through the business. Decorations and details from The Wedding of my Dreams start at £1.50 for tea light holders and favours while centrepiece vases and vessels cost around £10-15.
