I’ll say it right now – as a weekend treat, you’re simply not going to get better than this! Today, I’m absolutely overjoyed to welcome the brilliant KATYA KATYA LONDON back to Love My Dress and this feature is packed with fabulous news

Not only are we taking a look at the new bridal collection, we’re also stepping into the label’s new flagship store in Chelsea. I have been a huge fan of KATYA KATYA LONDON for a long time now. I love their collections – beautiful French and Italian laces, hand embroidery, silk skirts and those fantastic slips that allow you to play with different colours ways and create two completely different looks with one gown. Recently, their hand-embellished belts have caught my eye and I’ve yet to see a KATYA KATYA BRIDAL gown that I’ve not loved.

So it’s fair to say that I was really looking forward to the new collection and Morning Mist is as heavenly as I hoped it would be.

“All collections usually start with pictures,” says Katya. “It’s very interesting to me how, from one single picture, a whole moodboard and then a whole collection can grow. The new collection started from a picture of a girl running through a field. We can only see her back, but we can almost feel the warm sun touching her skin and hear her happy laughter.”

A lot of Katya’s inspiration comes from what’s around her – the elements, wilderness, wild flowers and the contrast that these things create. This collection remains rooted in the beauty of nature and the feeling of pure happiness and freedom that comes from this.

So what are my favourite gowns in the new collection? Well, I love the romantic, soft styling of Godiva where a sheer chest piece allows you show a little skin whilst keeping the illusion of the sleeves being attached to the dress. Saffron features one of the hand-embroidered belts I mentioned earlier and that finely scalloped V-neck and butterfly cap sleeves just make me smile.

Harper is definitely a ‘less is more’ gown and the soft tulle gives this gown a lovely weightless look. Lastly, I have to mention Adele, a design that’s back by popular demand. It’s a feminine, bohemian design and oooh, that neckline!

And this stunning collection has an equally stunning new home in the leafy tree lined streets of Chelsea. KATYA KATYA LONDON has moved to a new, larger boutique where both bridal and eveningwear can take pride of place. It’s a clean, uncomplicated space with touches of rose gold sitting alongside soft plush pink sofas and stormy grey curtains.

If you visit the boutique for a bridal appointment, you’ll have the use of the entire ground floor. You can browse the collection with assistance and guidance from a member of the KATYA KATYA LONDON team and try on a whole range of gowns. It’s a fabulous space that guarantees you an equally fabulous experience.

To celebrate the new Morning Mist collection and the move to Chelsea, KATYA KATYA LONDON have a very special offer for you and really, it’s not one to be missed.
