Well good morning and I will tell you right now that this feature could well be the most gorgeous, indulgent and glamorous thing you might see all week. Just last weekend, Pronovias was the talk of New York Bridal Fashion week with their stellar runway show for the 2018 Atelier Pronovias Collection.
Today, we’re beyond excited to share it with you now. Dazzling is not the word. Held at the iconic 583 Park Avenue in New York, the Pronovias show was most definitely the one that attracted a lot of attention.
The front row was packed with celebrities – actresses, singers, TV personalities and digital influencers to name but a few. Add in a cast of top models and the most amazing stage and the scene was set for something very special indeed.
And the event didn’t disappoint. The 2018 Atelier Pronovias Collection is simply exquisite and the occasion was a dream come true for the team. Of course, the real stars of the show were the dresses themselves. The latest trends in bridal fashion were all on the catwalk as designer Hervé Moreau’s latest collection took centre stage, much to the delight of the crowd.
This collection is, frankly, exceptional. The dresses themselves play with silhouettes and innovative patterns so that the whole collection is full of possibilities. There are mermaid and evasé cuts and designs with so much volume that it’s just insane. The variety of shapes and styles really does make this collection fantastic. No two dresses are in any way the same – each one is so individual and perfectly designed.
I also love the fact that this collection hasn’t been afraid to be daring. Yes, for sure some of the designs push the boundaries of what might be considered suitable for a wedding but do you know what? I think that’s to be celebrated. It’s fabulous to see bravery and beauty out there in equal measure.
And let’s just talk about fabrics and embellishments too shall we because these combinations definitely play a huge role in making this collection so brilliant. The dresses in the 2018 collection are crafted (and crafted is absolutely the right word here) in organza, crepe, soft satin and beautiful French lace. They’re then finished with white gemstone embroidery that’s sophisticated and delicate.
Combine all of that with the most perfectly chosen details and it’s no wonder that the show finished with a standing ovation. The fringe sleeves of Relato, the thigh-high split of Rosales and all those barely-there lace bodices and skirts just demand your attention.
On the flip side, the timeless elegance of Real and Rimor bring the perfect contrast to the collection and show that whatever your bridal style, an exquisite wedding dress absolutely needs to be at the heart of everything.
