Happy Saturday morning folks! I finally made it down to London yesterday, for a very special photoshoot project on Sunday, with friends Emily Quinton, Tiffany Grant-Riley, Vicky Rowe and several amazing other people! :) That was after I nearly missed my flight because BA refused to let me board without a Drs note, due to my expectant state, leaving me a whole stress-filled 10 minutes to sort out my dilemma as I was already late getting to the airport! Thanks to one incredibly helpful Dr's Receptionist however, 20 mins later I was boarding my plane with only minutes to spare. These things are sent to test us!
So today, I shall be enjoying spending time with the lovely TIffany of Grant-Riley Weddings as we roam around in Islington, collecting props for our photoshoot tomorrow, and mooching around the various vintage shop-fronts 🙂
And for you my lovelies? I have an elegant London based wedding for you to admire.
These beautiful memories were captured by the very lovely Nikole Ramsay (one of the loveliest Photographers I've made contact with since Blogging) and the wedding was that of Charlotte and Chris, who celebrated their wedding on 29 August 2008, with a civil ceremony and reception at The Bingham Hotel, in Richmond Upon Thames…

The stylish wedding venue, The Bingham Hotel, in Richmond Upon Thames, selected by the couple for it's 'contemporary, intimate and cosy' style settings, for the 65 wedding guests that would be in attendance on the day…
"The interior of The Bingham Hotel has a very 1930's art-deco look, so we concentrated on complimenting the space. I took inspiration from modern day film sirens, like Scarlett Johansson, to create an individual take on Hollywood glamour…"
Now I happen to think Bride Charlotte carries of a beautifully understated, elegant look – and I LOVE her shoes! But then they are the exact same pair of Pearl Emmy wedding shoes that I wore on my own wedding day – and our wedding dresses are very similar too – clearly we both caught the Jenny Packham bug when we were planning our big days 🙂 …
I personally cannot recommend Emmy highly enough for your wedding-day heels. Read my interview features with both Jenny Packham and Emmy Scarterfield of Emmy Shoes…
Flowers were provided by the Village Florist, in Wimbledon Village (telephone 020 8944 9922), and Charlotte's beautiful bouquet comprised Sweet Avalanche and Cool Water roses, Hypericum berries and Cybidium orchids – with sparkling stones threaded into the centre of the bouquet. Just beautiful…
The lovely sage green Bridesmaids dresses were supplied by Watters… (my Bridesmaids dresses were from the WToo, by the Watters brand also! I can highly recommend!)…
Cymbidium orchids also made rather stylist Boutonnieres for the Groom and hist Best Man. Chris's suit was by Gieves and Hawkes…
I just love the way Charlotte's dress floats…
Decor was kept simple,
Cakes 4 Fun provided this gorgeous looking edible treat…
Lovely hey? :) … and note that helpful hook that Charlotte is using to hold up the train of her dress – all Jenny Packham dresses have one of these concealed beneath the gown on the longer dresses – a thoughtful little God-send indeed! 🙂
Thank you so much to Nikole Ramsay for the kindness as usual in sharing her beautiful imagery.
And as for Charlotte and Chris – you both make sure you have a romantic and wonderful 2nd Wedding Anniversary this year! 🙂
Have a lovely Saturday everyone 🙂
