This Blog is all about glamour and gorgeousness, with a very large splash of vintage thrown in for good measure. Because we love all things vintage here at Love My Dress, rather very much indeed!
There are so many amazing websites, services and creative people that I want to write about, but one that has been at the top of my list for a while now, is the fabulous, Natasha Bailie Vintage Clothing Company…

Natasha Bailie Vintage Clothing Company specialise in stocking some of the finest vintage fashion for women.
When I first encountered this wonderful online store, it struck me that here was someone who had a pure passion for vintage fashion and who genuinely wanted to make it accessible to others. Indeed, the company strap-line is 'fashion doesn't have to cost the earth'. It is totally refreshing to be able to browse through Natasha's website and find the loveliest of vintage apparel that all fits within my (currently, extremely very modest) clothing budget.
Take these cute examples for instance…

So who is the lady behind the label? Well, Natasha Bailie was a successful fashion buyer and stylist, working
for a high-end retailer, when she had the idea for a new business venture. As a
dedicated vintage-devotee disappointed with the high street's selection of
women's vintage style, she decided to make use of her contacts in the industry
and her keen eye for fashion and establish her own company selling vintage clothing. Her online store is for all fellow fashionistas in
search of quality pieces with retro styling.
Natasha says she
carefully selects each piece from vintage fairs, antique stores and private
collections. She also evaluates not only the look and feel of each garment, but the condition, so that the buyer's satisfaction is always guaranteed.

Natasha clearly knows her stuff when it comes to vintage…
"Only the best selection of vintage retro fashion makes it
into the shop and I always ensure that our ladies vintage clothing is bang on
trend so you can achieve the latest look, without the high street tag".
She provides a helpful 'A to Z of Vintage' Guide, and writes fluently about the fashions of the decades gone by and the latest retro clothing trends on her website. The company has even been
showcased in Vogue magazine as one of its top secret addresses
for Vintage Clothing in 2008 and is also recommended as a vintage women's
clothing stockist for the Goodwood Revival.
Natasha Bailie also stock some exquisite vintage wedding dresses…
Left: Vintage 1950's Lace Wedding Dress, £295 Right: Vintage 1960's Bow Wedding Dress, £200
You can fix up a whole vintage outfit thanks to Natasha, who also stocks vintage shoes, boots, jewellery, bags and hats on her website.
Left: Vintage Small Cream Vanity Case, £40 Right: Vintage Leather Suede Peeptoes, £25
My Grandma recently gave to me a vintage vanity case identical to the one above left. Grandma used to work in a lingerie boutique in Lichfield before she retired years ago, and had kept the vanity case in brand new/unused condition, and when she handed it to me last year, it was all boxed up pristine and still had the original 1960's price tag attached. I love it, and was excited to find a matching case on the Natasha Bailie website.
