Just another lovely real wedding here on the Love My Dress Wedding Blog.
Sally and Martin's wedding took place on 8 August 2009 at Grafton Manor Hotel in Worcestershire. Sally's gorgeous dress is a Jenny Packham that she purchased from The Wedding Club on Wentworth Gate, Harborne. You'd think we had a bit of a thing about Jenny Packham here at Love My Dress! 🙂
I'd like to thank Birmingham based Photographer Anna Hardy for submitting these lovely lovely images – thank you Anna! 🙂

Sally and Martin certainly picked the right day for the wedding, look at that sky!…
Sally's pretty shoes were from Monsoon – in the sale – just £12! Talk about bargain of the century! 🙂
The hallmark of a Jenny Packham dress – gorgeous silk charmeuse that hangs beautifully – and a little bit of added sparkle…
Sally's stunning birdcage veil Headpiece was from a bridal boutique in Armadale in Melbourne, Australia, where Sally and Martin now live…
I love these pretty bottle green Bridesmaids dresses…
Name cards on the tables were in Japanese katakana – to reflect the fact that Sally and Martin met in Japan. I love the wedding cake too – plain white and yet stunning in it's simplicity. The flowers were provided by a local florist and friend of the family Anne Claridge. The couple opted for seasonal flowers in pale pink, white and eucalyptus to reflect the Australian connection (Sally and Martin now live there)…
The evening entertainment was provided by The Refinements ~ a ska cover band from London that were luckily playing in the Midlands the night before. The band we had booked pulled out a month beforehand but Sally and Martin were thrilled that they could book a ska band instead of the usual rubbish band ~ and it certainly looks as though they went down a storm!…
Just beautiful 🙂
Thank you again to the lovely Anna Hardy for submitting this wedding for a feature, and all the very best to newlyweds Sally and Martin too 🙂
