Regular followers of Love My Dress will know that recently, I've been spending quite a bit of time down in London and meeting with some of the most wonderful, creative and inspirational people working in the UK wedding industry today, in order that I may share exciting wedding blog content with you. I most definitely include 'By Appointment Only Design' in the mix there – and if you haven't already seen it, you must hop on over to this blog feature, where I wrote about my experience at the By Appointment Only Design party at One Mayfair last month. It was one of the most magical evenings I've had in my entire life. Whilst I received an invitation – anyone could attend this party, and tickets {£15} were openly available via the By Appointment Only Design website.
By Appointment Only Design, by the way, offer an event design, flowers and wedding concierge service. Indeed, they are one of London's top wedding and event planning teams, but don't be put off by this description, because the designers at the helm {Javier and Tony} are two of the loveliest, most down to earth, approachable and friendly people I've met in the industry. I cannot rave about them enough, and you can expect to see much more of their exquisite floral work gracing these blog pages in the weeks to come.
Earlier this week, one half of the talented creative duo that head up the 'BAOD' team, Javier Salvador, contacted me to see if I would like to feature a video that wedding video journalists 'The Dreamcatchers' had produced, that showcases how the evening came together. I've spoke with Javier a lot since that night and knowing what I know now, I'm not surprised the whole night was so special; a HUGE amount of work went on behind the scenes. The logistics of putting a show like this one together are always complex, but the level of detail and planning that went into this particular event is fascinating to watch and learn about.
Today, I'd like to share the video with you. It is a 7 minute long production {almost} that provides a brief, but fascinating 'behind-the-scenes' insight, and glimpse as to the magic that occured that evening. The venue at One Mayfair alone would provide a breathtaking backdrop for any city centre wedding venue, but the video demonstrates beautifully some of the wedding services available by those who were involved in this event…
