Good afternoon everyone 🙂 I had to share these photographs with you of rather exquisitely beuautiful Bride Anna-Karin and husband Daniel, who tied the knot recently in the Katarina Church over in Stockholm. I've been asked a few times now to feature the work of Swedish Stylist Madelin Downey, who worked with the Bride here on her elegant wedding day look, and it's always such a pleasure. As for this wedding, well it goes without saying, I just adore the Brides style – from her elegant up do to her pretty drop earrings and the gentle not towards her love of the vintage style. Photographer Anna Roström told me the couple LOVE Paris, books, old movies and anything vintage and Stylist Madelin told me more about this wedding…
"The Bride, Anna-Karin, wanted it all to go in white, black and green… a little bit vintage but still glamorous. Her hair has been styled in a classic 40s look, with a vintage brooch and ostrich feathers.
I made the white bridal bouquets with feeling of spring flowers; ranunculus, anemones, alstromeria, roses and chrysantemum with black satin and organza ribbons and white ostrich feathers in it too. The bridesmaids bouquet were a smaller version of the brides, but with black feathers!
The dress was made bespoke for Anna by an independent Seamstress.
Anna's also wore a leather and diamand armlace and original vintage fur stole…"

I just don't think you can beat a classic red lipstick and red nails look on your wedding day. It has a timeless elegance about it and looks so GOOD on Anna!
