Just got to share these images of the beautiful bridal wear going on over at BHLDN. BHLDN {pronounced 'beholden'} is the bridal wear range of cult brand Anthropologie – who specialise in cool, quirky and kitsch womens wear, accessories and home decor. The theme is very much individuality, and delivering a twist on tradition, and the brand does that beautifully with these wedding dresses that mix contemporary with vintage inspired, the boho bride look with some whimsical wedding wonder.
{The Anthropologie brand by the way is American, but has stores on Regent Street and Kings Road in London}. All the dresses you see on this page ship from the US to the UK (click here for information on international shipping and a returns policy). And that will mean that you'll have to pay the full cost of any of the dresses below up front, before having them shipped to the UK to try them on as your potential wedding dresses. But that's little hassle when you're talking this much prettiness…
"We want, more than anything, to help a woman create an event that reflects her own unique perspective… to a tee. We want to give a bride that edit she’s been searching for—with heirloom-quality wedding gowns, artisanal hair adornments, footwear, and lingerie. And we want happy bridesmaids—in mix-and-match frocks with rich hues and unexpected details.
But it goes beyond the dress. Our goal, and the reason we drape, fold, bustle, and stitch, is to start a conversation with our customer – to build a resource where she can come to find inspiration and to share with those closest to her, as well as our broader coterie. BHLDN's story is unfolding; and we’ll look to our customer for cues and guidance going forward."
This just makes me want to go and try stuff on….
