A Jenny Packham Gown for a Glamorous Gathering at Goodwood…

Just a litle bit of Saturday morning love for a Bride who I know checked in to Love My Dress when planning her wedding and is excited about her feature 🙂

The Bride and Groom featured here today were captured on camera on their wedding day by Pippa Mackenzie, who I had the pleasure of meeting at The Designer Wedding Show recently.   The wedding took place at the beautiful Goodwood House in Chichester, West Sussex, on 19 February 2011.

"It is the most beautiful setting, both grand and intimate as a home and a venue, and so special to be married amongst such breathtaking art. Goodwood House have a team of Event planners located at Goodwood Hotel. Gemma Partridge was our Events Team Leader and did a wonderful job!"

The Bride wore Jenny Packham Carmen in Oyster {a purchase from 'White Mischief Bridal'}, a popular choice with Brides who love the vintage glamour look with a little 'Wow!' factor.

"This was not the first marriage for either of us and I was keen to step away from the big white more obvious bridal dress and go for a more sophisticated evening look. I love everything about it, the opulent feel of the fabric, the richness in colour, the feel of it on my skin, the flattering shape from the front and the unusual back … infact I think Im in love with this dress!"

The lovely Carmen by Jenny Packham, hanging in all it's resplendence…

The Bride also opted for Jenny Packham when it came to her headpiece – which was the stunning crystal Acacia II…

"It was a most beautifully stunning piece of jewellery…"

Spriggs of Petworth supplied the pretty flowers…

"We were just coming out of a long hard winter and I wanted to really embrace the feeling of spring round the corner. All shades of cream, freesias, white calla lillies buttonholes (20s feel like my dress), and a subtle edge of deep raspberry to the bridesmaids bouquets to match their dresses…"

Olly Wedgewood's Jazz Soul Boogie Band provided the evening entertainment for guests…

"Olly Wedgewood's Jazz Soul Boogie Band. Olly and his guys are extremely talented, I dont know anyone better. They played as an instrumental quartet during our ceremony, a trio during the reception and the whole 6 piece band in the evening. Everyone loved them!"
