Yesterday, I posted over the lunch hour about British bridal wear designer, Johanna Hehir. Today, I'd like to focus a little more on Johanna and her beautiful new collection of wedding dresses, which she has collectively pulled together under her new 'Mae by Johanna Hehir' label.

"Mae by Johanna Hehir is a different side of my personality, inspired by my
daughter Fianna, who has now joined me as my Creative Assistant. My
middle name is Mae and when my daughter suggested it as the name for
the collection, it seemed very fitting.
I
have used soft georgette, silk crepe and vintage style laces to create
this fresh, feminine range of dresses. Although Mae by Johanna Hehir
echoes the Johanna Hehir line, I have designed the collection with a
very different style of bride in mind…."
The Johanna Hehir website is really useful, offering everything from fitting tips and sizes, to information on how to choose a dress that will suit you the most, to how to order a wedding gown. Johanna also maintains her own blog, so you can keep up to date with what she's up to and any special offers she might have available…
It can be difficult to get a true idea of how dresses move, how fabric falls nad how the gowns really fit from still images like these, despite how beatiful they are. Take a peek at this little film to get an idea of just how beautiful these dresses are when they move…
