One of the features of Love My Dress that I adore most are the wedding films that we feature, and today, I have rather a special film to share with you.
Back in August 2011, I ran a competition for one lucky couple to win their wedding photography. That lucky couple ended up being Seema and Vinny, but through the most wonderful act of kindness and generosity, shortlisted couple Gemma and Ehren were also gifted their wedding photography by the wonderful Adam Dunn. This was such a kind gesture by Adam, who was moved by reading about Gemma's experience of being diagnosed with cervical cancer at the age of just 27.
Now, I'll be featuring Gemma and Ehren's wedding very soon, but today, I want to feature their wedding film with you all. And I'm not going to lie, you will need your tissues for this one – better go grab them quick my loves, this has a pretty emotional Groom's speech…
"Ehren and I were wed on 9th August at the amazing Gosfield Hall in Essex. Adam Dunn was our photographer, whom we met through Love my Dress and the fabulous competition that
Annabel ran in 2011! We undertook a lot of research to find the right film maker for our wedding day, and came
across David at Rideout Films, whose work shone out above all others
we had seen. The shots that David used and edits to music looked so
professional! He did an incredible job in capturing the emotion of the
day.
Our wedding was the most amazingly sunny day amidst days of rain – we were
so lucky! We had the best day of our lives
it was so special! I loved every minute of the planning process and
gained so much inspiration from Love My Dress every day! The experience meant so much to me, that I'm starting my own wedding planning venture, so that I can
relive the experience again and again and help other couples have their own beautiful day."
