Having recently visited Italy with my husband, I know all too well the allure of this beautiful country and why so many couples might choose to marry there – the breathtaking natural backdrop, the amazing food and of course, the sunshine.
Beatrice and Angelo's wedding took place in May this year when temperature are already very warm in this beautiful country. Their chosen venue was Convento Dell'Annunciata in Lake Garda, Italy, which they told me was love at first sight and the couple were assisted by Italian wedding planner, Nataly Olmett.
"I think my favourite moment from the whole day was the point I
walked in to the chapel, and everyone cried! Not forgetting all the
speeches and the party!"

I'm a total sucker for a guy in black tie – Angelo decked himself out in this super suave garb by Tiger of Sweden…
"The dress was made by a friend of my sister from scratch. I designed the dress and we chose the fabric together. I love classic dress designs and especially the dress design Grace Kelly wore. I love lace so I always wanted that too - I choose the short arms because the weather in Italy is normally warm in May.
I wore wedges too! To be honest, I cant understand why more people don't wear them
under their dress. They are so comfortable and you also get the extra
height."
"My Dad gave me away, we walked down the aisle to the sound of
Sade's 'by your side' – it was beautiful!, even the photographer cried!"
"My bridesmaids found their dresses in a store in Sweden. We had
like a silver theme so I thought the dresses were perfect and all my
bridesmaids loved them too."
"Our photographer was Francesca Secolonovo who is London based but also fulfils destination weddings. We are so happy with the photographs, she took incredible pictures of us both, was so professional and we couldn't be happier!"
"I thought my whole look would be too much with a wedding veil, so I choose a beautiful vintage comb from the 1940s instead."
"We wanted a chocolate-cake, so we had that with some liquor inside.
We also knew that we wanted a white cake, it was so beautiful that when
you cut it, it was white outside and brown inside. We also needed a
little bling (my choice!) so we had sparkle all around the cake."
Words of Wedded Wisdom…
"Relax!! Relax and let everyone
else do their job on the day. Have a schedule for every minute that day
and brief all the staff, it will make everything go really smooth."
