Come and visit me and pick up a signed copy of my book, Style Me Vintage Weddings, in Harrogate, on Sunday 22nd September at The National Vintage Wedding Fair!
A leading light in all things vintage, the Discover Vintage Wedding Fairs
have welcomed many vintage loving couples to their Vintage Wedding fairs over the past three years, as the demand
for vintage themed weddings has grown. With an emphasis on picking up a unique vintage wedding dress, founder Keeley Harris at her team have helped hundreds of brides find that special piece of
history.
Recently being judged Best Vintage Wedding Fair at the
National Vintage Awards, the fair took its first footsteps in Harrogate back in
2010 and now intends to prove it’s the best fair in it's genre, with its next fair in Harrogate 22nd
September.
And I'm going to be there – and I'm really rather excited about that!

I always intended to get involved with only a carefully selected number of fairs once my book had been published, and having exhibited/undertaken book signings now in London, York and Glasgow, I'm keen to add this brilliant Harrogate based fair to my list. Of the vintage wedding fairs taking place across the UK right now, I can honestly say that this one comes with the very best reputation – not just for being superbly organised, but for being great for suppliers and an absolute gold mine for brides looking for something special.
The fair's founder, Keeley Harris was overjoyed and even quite tearful
at winning her recent award – “I was delighted to be crowned the Best
in the UK! The market for Vintage
Wedding Fairs is so strong, the competition is so good – our
fairs have a very good following from visitors who are prepared to travel from
far and wide to visit and we could not have won without such amazing vintage dealers and sppliers exhibiting – they are the best in the country”.
The award has sparked new vigour into Keeley's fair and inspired a name change to highlight the fairs UK and
European following (originally, the National Vintage Wedding Fair was known as the Discover Vintage Wedding Fair).

With a new name and new venue, the event is excited to showcase
60 handpicked and most wonderful vintage wedding dress dealers and talented wedding suppliers,
who are coming from as far as Scotland, Kent and London to meet vintage
inspired couples.
The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate is a beautiful
new venue for the National Vintage Wedding Fair, a famous 200-year old hotel set in 5 acres of beautiful
gardens. Just a short walk from the centre of Harrogate, it has an interesting
past with mysterious connections to Agatha Christie. Take time to enjoy their
renowned afternoon teas too. The Ballroom, Garden Room and Red Lounge offer
a very vintage backdrop – perfect for those planning an elegant 1920’s or 30’s inspired wedding.

Regular exhibitors who will be in attendance on 22nd September include Glory Days Vintage, It’s a Wind Up Vintage 78 DJ’s, Lindsay
Fleming Couture and Vintage Bride Emporium as well as newcomers Booth Revolution, Vintage Bridal Millinery, Kate
Beaumont and McCarthy’s Creations. Add to that list of course, me! I will be in attendance promoting signed copies of my beautiful book, Style Me Vintage: Weddings.
The bigger venue allows for plenty of outside display space too,
which means Truly Scrumptious Cars, Red
Bus Days and North Yorkshire Classics will be proudly joining the vintage vehicle cavalcade lining the front driveway of the Hotel. Also for the
first time an array of street food catering suppliers, including Mo’s
Shack, who offer pulled pork, perfect choice for that Festival feel.
