How many of you will be doing a spot of wedding planning over this particular lunch hour? Browsing the web for the perfect dress or scouring the blogs to find the ideal wedding photographer? I’m hoping that this feature will assist those of you who may be focussing on the latter.
‘I love photographing people. It’s lovely getting to know a couple in the months before their wedding, and then to have the privilege of taking photos on what is one of the happiest days of their lives.’
Sara likes her pictures to reflect each couple’s unique personality and style.
‘I am very passionate about taking beautiful photos that capture a series of real moments, in a relaxed and natural way. I try to be as unobtrusive as possible – I want my couples to concentrate on having fun and not to worry about me getting in their way. I love the idea that my photos preserve a series of moments, emotions and personalities, as memories to be enjoyed for years into the future.’
Having always loved photography, Sara has gone through life with camera in hand, documenting anything and everything!
‘I’ve always preferred taking photos of people though, holding out on pressing the shutter until there is something coming from that person that brings the shot to life: a snapshot of their personality preserved forever in my frame…amazing. A few years ago I took some photos at a friend’s wedding and loved how full of emotion, happiness and beauty they were. I have been hooked ever since!’
At Love My Dress®, we’re passionate about bringing suppliers to your attention who are equally passionate about their craft, and by association, your wedding day. Sara definitely fits the bill in this respect.
‘Everything about my job makes me happy! Meeting new people, indulging my inner romantic every time I go to work, going to new places and the thrill of capturing real emotion and those special moments in a timeless and natural way. It feels really special to be able to deliver something of quality to people who I know really value great photography!’
Based in London and more than happy travel to shoot your wedding, Sara charges £1400 for a full day’s coverage. This includes a USB stick of high-resolution edited images and an online gallery to share with friends and family. She also offers some beautiful handmade albums at an additional cost.
