Somethings, I feel I simply need to share a beautiful set of images for your appreciation – and this collection of photographs is one of them. Sent in by photographer Ainsley Rose, these images were created to celebrate the concept of an elegant summer wedding. I love the colours, the light, the fluid fabric of that beautiful floor-length gown.
The back-drop was Cecil Park House, in Vancouver (a place, strangely maybe, on my mind of late) and the suppliers were local but the images transcend location and their inspirational appeal is universal. This is gorgeous, glamorous bridal styling – perfect, I thought, to help you while away your Thursday afternoon. Especially if you’re still stuck in the office.
And because, we really do need to see more beautiful black brides and models on wedding blogs and in wedding media in general, don’t we?

The details for this photo-shoot were seamlessly brought together by Jenn Goulding at Bash And Fete, and captured by Ainsley Rose Photography. Showing that your something blue can be a huge statement, the model, Lucy could not have looked more stunning in this blue tinted dress from Ellebay Bridal Boutique, and decked out in hand crafted jewels by Elsa Corsi from Jeweliette Jewellery.
The Flower Factory provided the stunningly vibrant flowers for the bouquets and table scape topping linen and select decor from A & B Party Time Rentals and Art Of The Party.
My thanks to Ainsley Rose and her creative team for choosing to share these images on Love My Dress®. I do hope you have enjoyed them.
Have a very lovely afternoon all,
Annabel xx

Oooh love this! I think it would take a braver bride than I (plus a perfect figure like this gorgeous model) to wear the dress but it is breathtaking.
What a beautiful shoot and stunning models. Thank you for sharing. It is about time indeed that we saw more black models in the main stream rather than just on niche blogs. This post has made my day! x
Will this stockist be available in the UK? It’s gorgeous and would be lovely as a bride’s ‘something new/somthing blue’!
