Hello lovely ones! For the next week, we’ll be running a reduced blog post schedule, whilst I spent time in New York for bridal market, busy meeting lots of lovely new suppliers that we’ll soon be adding to the pages of Little Book For Brides®. Today, I’m proud to be showcasing one of the brands we’re most proud to be listing in our Little Book For Brides – the wonderful Jesús Peiró.
Spanish brand Jesús Peiró caters for the bride who adores clean lines, elegance and who is looking for a gown that makes a cool and confident, modern day bride kind of statement. They are stocked exclusively in some of the UK’s best, most well regarded and coolest bridal boutiques and I have to be honest, I really adore their gowns. Earlier this year, my husband Philip (also my business partner, also a dress maker himself) visited Barcelona Bridal Fashion week to support the Jesús Peiró team and attend the launch of their beautiful new ‘Nanda Devi’ collection on the catwalk. I’m delighted to share these editorial images with you today that show the gowns at their most beautiful.
Jesús Peiró are a member of Little Book For Brides®
‘Nanda Devi’ is the name of the amazing mountain between India and Nepal that served as inspiration for the 2016 Jesus Peiró collection. Its name means ‘bliss-giving Goddess’.
Merché Segarra, the Design Director of Jesús Peiró has envisaged snow princesses dwelling within the beauty of the Nanda Devi – creatures of the cold that leave a trail of frost and a glint of sparkle, splashing their delicate dresses with crystals.
It’s a whimsical, fairytale style vision but one that has translated so utterly beautiful to the structure of and movement within these sublime bridal gowns.
The 2016 Nanda Devi collection is refreshingly original yet reassuringly wearable. The gowns are helpling lead the way in setting new trends in bridal fashion, yet feature classic tailoring and impeccable fit, meaning the Jesús Peiró bride can wear an original and fashion forward gown of the highest quality that is flattering and incredibly beautiful.
I really do adore this brand and everything it does.

Every collection, and this more than any of its predecessors is a perfect balance of volumes and texture, clean lines, sparkly detail and minimalism. All the detail is hand-sewn, adding a beautiful essence of craftsmanship to each gown.

Jesús Peiró now boasts a network of 30 carefully chosen independent retailers across the UK and Ireland who share the company’s commitment to quality and customer service – they include our highly recommended bridal boutique, Miss Bush Bridal in Surrey, but you can find your nearest stockists here on our very own Little Book For Brides®.
You can also connect with Jesus Peiro on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and take a look at real wedding features we have published where the bride wore Jesús Peiró.
As you read this post today, I’m heading out to Pier 94 on the Hudson River in New York to meet with the Jesus Peiro team, who are here to exhibit at New York bridal market. Keep an eye out on our Instagram feed throughout the weekend for more beautiful images.
Love Annabel x
