As wedding photographers, The Twins, aka, Caroline and Kelly, have a truly amazing reputation – having recently won a prestigious Rangefinder Award for their photography, they are also sought after from couples all over the UK who desire clean, modern, contemporary and timeless wedding images.

It’s easy to see why, Caroline and Kelly’s eye for detail and composition is quite exquisite. That this talented twosome is now adding a new creative string to their bow is both exciting and inspiring.

‘Pieces’ was created as a result of the sister’s adoration of vintage bridal gowns. Kelly explains; “As passionate photographers, we also share a love of the sartorial, particularly timeless and well-made design. For us, the wedding dress is a highlight and we witness first hand just how much joy the ‘right’ dress brings to a bride on her wedding day.

It is this and the other aesthetic touches, like the flowers and carefully co-ordinated accessories, that transform the bride from her ordinary to exceptional. The dress is the canvas of the magic.”

There’s no doubting the fact that while Pieces will appeal to brides who love vintage or who want to explore different options to paying the usual fees for a designer gown. The timeless look and feel of Pieces will also attract those who crave the original, timeless and the stylish.

The Pieces bride is a smart, confident playful woman who’s also quietly daring. I just love the fact that in this modern world of fast, disposable fashion, Pieces is a true testament to the beautiful bygone eras where handcrafting and quality were things to treasure.

Kelly explains; “Pieces is a constantly updated collection of beautiful curated vintage wedding dresses and accessories for the original bride. We’re based in Newcastle upon Tyne but have a strong online presence too. Appointments are available throughout the week, including evenings, or dresses can be purchased directly from the website and we’ll happily ship worldwide.”

Just like the The Twins wedding photography, Pieces is inspired by timeless imagery. I absolutely adore how these campaign images so beautifully capture and convey the elegance, glamor and cinematic vibe of the gowns.

“As photographers, we are always on the look out for the unexpected, the unique perspective on a day that is as individual as the bride and groom. From the cinematic to the bohemian, Pieces will appeal to many tastes but all have one thing in common: beauty and classic style.”
