The conversation around sustainable fashion is gaining more momentum than ever. And rightly so – I challenge anyone to watch Stacey Dooley’s recent Fashion’s Dirty Secrets documentary and not start asking questions about their own fashion purchases and consumption.

Where have your clothes have come from? How were they made? What is the impact of their production on our precious environment? From my perspective, it’s incredibly encouraging to see more and more responsible bridal designers striving to ensure their garment production is as sustainable as can be. But one particular designer stands out for her truly authentic and long-standing commitment to ethical bridal fashion design, and she is Sanyukta Shrestha.

Sustainable luxury designer Sanyukta has always designed ethical wedding dresses, but today, ware are beyond thrilled to be sharing her brand new collection of eco-friendly produced bridal gowns with you. These are never-before-seen images of the gorgeous new Entwined Love, Chapter 2 collection.

Sanyukta has launched this breathtaking new collection in tribute to her brides – the mantra behind the stunning dresses and separates is ‘Designed for You, Inspired by You’.

Not only are the brides and women in Sanyukta’s life the inspiration behind these new gowns, Sanyukta has also paid the ultimate tribute to these individuals by naming each design after a special bride: Sarah, Francesca, Jamie, Maddy, Chloe and Martha, to name a few!

Entwined Love, Chapter 2 is the ultimate nod to the extraordinary women whom Sanyukta has shared their wedding journey with and from whom she has gained the inspiration to create this new collection.

From wide leg jumpsuits to off-the-shoulder fishtail gowns, lace to hemp silk, the romanticism flowing through the collection is a celebration of femininity yet independence. By blending structured hemp silk with a fanciful chiffon, the Sanyukta Shrestha bride can customise her gown so she feels as beautiful as she looks.

A bridal consultations with the Sanyukta Shrestha team is a therapeutic experience for both the bride and designer. After seventeen years in her role, Sanyukta is so adept at tuning into the needs of the women who visit her, that she can tell what a bride wants entirely from their natural charisma, sometimes even before she speaks.

The luxury consultation sessions are peaceful, relaxed and nurturing – with a focus on encouraging each individual to talk openly and honestly about their ideas, expectations and any insecurities they may have about wearing a bridal gown with confidence.

Through skilfully guided conversation, Sanyukta is able to create a dress to perfectly fulfil her clients visions, leaving them feeling more beautiful, fearless and self assured than ever before.

“Every bride has her own unique and individual set of needs, hopes and insecurities when it comes to finding a wedding dress – we’re sensitive to this and always work together to dissolve any fears quickly and comfortably.”

“Whether the bride wants to celebrate her waistline with a tulle skirt over trousers or maintain a minimalist aesthetic in a slinky gown underneath a ball gown silhouette, my Entwined Love, Chapter 2 collection contains a design that will fit, flatter and showcase each bride’s personality and individuality on her wedding day.”

The most impressive element of Sanyukta’s dress making process is her use of 100% natural and organic fibres to create her gowns. These include organic cotton, hemp silk, milk silk and bamboo silk. And because these fibres are so natural, they are genuinely nourishing for the skin and fit, flatter and move around the body like no man-made fibre ever possibly could.

Natural fibres allow the skin to breath, rather than sweat. They last well, store well, hang well, travel well, and wear better than any polyester wedding dress ever could.
