Luxey Autumn Barn Wedding Inspiration with Whimsical + Ethereal Vibes

Every now and then a photoshoot comes along that truly blows me away. This is one of them. Life long friends Holly Vaughan of Holly’s House and Lucy Eveleigh of Lemon Entertainment collaborated on this glorious set of Autumnal inspired images.

Using the beautiful rustic backdrop of Bonhams Barn as their setting, and lots of whimsical touches, delicate foliage and grasses, they set out to create a collection of images to inspire brides, using the exquisite bridal gown designs of Jesus Peiro  and Eliza Jane Howell, courtesy of brilliant bridal boutique, Miss Bush.

Miss Bush of Surrey provided three stunning wedding dresses for the shoot as Lucy explains; “Originally we were only going to feature two gowns, but after viewing the collection it was so hard to narrow it down that we ended up taking three; Jesus Peiro’s 919 and 959 and Eliza Jane Howell’s ‘Flanders’.”

“Our model’s elegance and versatility showed off these three stunning dresses to their full potential, and together with the picturesque surroundings and delicate florals they were an absolute vision.”

Emma, Managing Director of Miss Bush, explains “Jesus Peiro have a brilliant eye for fabrics and they source the most incredible Italian embroidered tulle and soft woven cotton laces.”

“The brief for the shoot was whimsical and as much as I love floaty chiffon I really wanted to showcase some alternative, fresh fabrics for Holly’s shoot. As lovely as billowy fabrics are there is a lot of stillness in a wedding day and dresses must look exquisite at rest too.”

“Eliza Jane Howell’s collection features the softest, hand beaded tulle. As Eliza Jane Howell designer Gill Harvey has styled her campaign in a very vintage costume style, I loved the opportunity to bring the newest of the new ‘new romantic’ trend for ruffles up to date in a contemporary shoot.”

“Floral designer Hannah Berry used a mix of Roses, Dahlias, British Grasses, Seed Pod Heads and a mix of seasonal foliage including Eucalyptus, Beech and Ferns to create the stunning installation, bouquets and table decor.”

“They were the perfect match for the shoot and venue with tones of lilac, mauve, dusky pink and greens; her creations mirrored the table décor styled by Holly perfectly.”

“Wedding and event caterers Kalm Kitchen created a stunning ‘Botanical Bakery’ for the shoot. This incredible patisserie menu was dreamt up by Jen from Kalm Kitchen to perfectly match the concept of this luxury shoot with a touch of the wild and whimsical.”

“From the Wildflower Glass Lollipops to the beautiful delicate flower shortbread rounds, the colours and feel of the bakery were a perfect fit for this delicate, nature-inspired theme. With Holly’s styling using unique antique items from her props collection, this concept was truly brought to life for the shoot.”

“Sincerely May added to this natural theme by using camellia leaves as place names, inscribed with her delicate calligraphy. Together with the most exquisite printed fabric menus that were illustrated with botanical detailing, the table settings were entirely unique and most definitely lust-worthy. Her fabric welcome sign and invitation set also provided stunning, whimsical touches to this styled shoot.”

“Holly carefully selected the bridal accessories, which are creations of Luna Bea, provided by wonderful bridal concierge service White Dossier. These delicate creations perfectly mirrored the wild yet luxury floral touches that Hannah Berry brought to this shoot. Quelle Maquilleur (hair & make up) made sure that the stylists’ vision was realizsd with natural, dewy make up and a slightly loose, more natural hair style.”
