Now here’s a statistic or two for you; around half our traffic arrives via social media links, and around 70% of that half of social media traffic comes from…..

…can you guess? Pinterest. Pinterest is an absolute gold mine of visual inspiration that we add to almost every day. You’ll find these modern, romantic, light and contemporary images, along with many thousands of others, all neatly categorised in our Pinterest boards right here. Words that follow are from Anastasia of Wedhead and Natalie Hewitt Weddings + Events.

“We wanted this look to speak to a modern bride; a couple that respects tradition but isn’t scared to experiment with more contemporary twists.”

“The model wore simplistic, modern pieces with a strict silhouette yet romantic at the same time – all handmade by Coeur Atelier London. We opted for a tailored silk suit for the second look, which created a more modern city vibe, whist the silk retained the softness and elegance.”

“As more brides opt to wear tailored pieces these are becoming more and more common. The hair and makeup team of Jenn Edwards and Co complemented the look with clean, natural makeup and simple hair styles that helped highlight natural beauty to fit in with the overall relaxed feel of the editorial. Accessories played a big part and we used vintage jewellery to finish off the looks.”

“Our florals created by Fine Stems London were very much inspired by the current Australian trends, asymmetrical arrangements mounted on kenzans with large statement calla lilies, blooming seasonal peonies and aromatic sweet peas.”

“White and cream flowers stood out against the backdrop of stark greenery and worked beautifully in a half arch we designed around one of the large warehouse windows.”

“When it came to furniture we wanted to play on the contrasts. We opted for Wedhead’s limewash trestle tables with a natural grain showing through and dark green Masters chairs to balance the rustic feel; to provide a more edgy and modern feel to a relaxed look.”

“Glassware and flatware in black from Duchess and Butler added an accent while white ceramic plates worked well with the shades of white that resonated through the shoot. Candles from Ester and Erik and stationery pieces from Rose Press perfectly fitted in with our concept of a minimalist, modern yet romantic editorial.”

“The beautiful white cake designs fitted perfectly with our brief. Detailed yet not overly fussy. Complimenting the florals and creating a statement on their own, without trying to compete with a styled dinner table.”
