A Charming French Countryside Wedding for a Bride in Grace Loves Lace

If you dream about marrying within the bucolic bliss of the French countryside, surrounded by nature, good friends, family and drenched in late summer sunshine, then these beautiful nuptials are for you.

Laura and Kevin tied the knot on 28th September at the beautiful former French farmhouse and mill, Blanche Fleur, at Chateauneuf-de-Gadagne. They exchanged vows in the gardens of this beautiful and romantic  Provencal property, that is surrounded by vines, wheat and lavender fields and appointed Love My Dress recommended supplier, Corrina Tough, to capture their wedding in images.

“We loved Corrina’s natural style and wanted to feel like the day was being captured without spending all day posing. Corrina was amazing at this and was amazing on the day. We would thoroughly recommend her.”

“We found our venue, Blanche Fleur, on instagram and booked it without even seeing it. We were set on France and knew just from the pictures it was the venue for us.”

The bride wore a figure hugging and super flattering dress by Aussie brand, Grace Loves Lace.

“I thoroughly recommend Grace Loves Lace. The boutique is amazing and they are so friendly and helpful.”

“I visited the London boutique but you can also buy online – this sounds scary for a wedding dress but I know they do all they can to make this as stress free as possible.”

Flowers in a colour pallet of whites and greens made up the pretty bouquets carried by the bride and her maids.

“I wanted lots of greenery with white flowers and from the moment Lilas Wood sent me the first mood board, I knew they understood my dreams completely. I could not be happier with the flowers on the day.”

Kevin looked fabulous in a navy velvet tux from Hackett London.

“Kevin and I met in 2012 in a bar in London and got engaged in Paris in 2016.”

“We had a long engagement as we wanted to make sure we chose exactly the wedding for us.”

“Our love for France inspired us – we wanted good wine, good food and all of our friends and family having a great time.”

“I always knew I wanted to wear Grace Loves Lace – I wanted a dress with sleeves and a low back and as soon as I tried on the Mai I knew it was the one.”

“I loved that it felt like me while also being the most special dress I would ever wear. It was also super comfortable.”

“My veil was my something borrowed and my best friend and bridesmaid Nicki wore it for her wedding too.”

The couple provided personalised, monogrammed napkins for their guests – a fabulous find at Ikea.

“My favourite part was the meal, the speeches were amazing and I loved seeing everyone together in one beautiful room.”

The rather impressive croquembouche, complete with indoor sparklers and a ‘Mrs & Mrs Redman’ cake topper, rather stole the show in the evening.

“Our caterers, Traiteur Brunet Freres, prepared a traditional Croquembouche for us which is like lots of choux pasty puffs – we cut this like a traditional cake and it was such a lovely French touch.”

Words of Wedded wisdom

“It goes so fast, not just the day but the hen, the dress fittings, suit shopping for the groom – try to enjoy every last second and remember the excitement.”

“Our original budget was £25,000 – we probably spent £30,000.”
