We’ve been supporting the wonderful London based Rewritten since they launched their brand in 2016.
Renowned for their modern, minimalist and super beautiful bridesmaids dresses that come in range of delightful hues, this brilliant all-female led business have just launched The Bridal Edit – a super cool capsule collection of stylish and affordable bridal wear that screams effortless luxe.
The team have worked so hard to create a collection that utilises sustainable materials, including bamboo satin and 100% recycled satin for garment linings. Designed in house and with every piece crafted in London, there’s something in this collection for every bride and its my absolute delight to share it with you today.
I had a conversation with team Rewritten earlier this week to find out more about their gorgeous new collection.

Can you tell us more about the inspiration behind The Bridal Edit and how it aligns with your vision and values at Rewritten?
Inspired by the need of contemporary bridal wear for the modern bride, we designed the collection to have various looks depending on your wedding day.
We have separates for the rehearsal dinner or civil ceremony, jumpsuits and a blazer to layer for the wedding evening, or dresses for the full wedding day look.

How would you describe the Bridal Edit collection?
The Bridal Edit encapsulates everything about the Rewritten brand – modern, minimal, effortless and luxe.
Sustainability and style seem to be at the heart of The Bridal Edit. Can you tell us more about this?
When designing The Bridal Edit we knew we wanted it to be a sustainable collection. We wanted to make it out of sustainable materials, but also design with re-wear in mind.

The fabrics we use for The Bridal Edit are Bamboo satin and 100% recycled satin for the lining.
Pieces in the collection such as the sequin Nancy top or the Lulu high waisted trousers can be mixed with something already in your wardrobe to re-wear after the wedding day.
Do you have any favourite pieces in the collection?
Our favourite has to be the Dolly dress! Featuring an ostrich feather sleeve trim and subtle side split, this dress is designed to take you from day to night.

What’s your best piece of advice for brides looking for their wedding day look?
It’s ok to go against tradition! If you want to wear a trouser and blazer suit for your wedding day instead of a dress, then why the hell not?!
