Wedding Photographers We Love
Hampton Court House
We had our wedding at Hampton Court House in Surrey, England. When we toured it, we were blown away by the beauty of the building and surrounding property.
We loved that both the ceremony and reception would be at the same location and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The Dress
Rembo Styling
I purchased my Rembo Styling dress from Angelica Bridal in Angel, London. My experience was incredibly positive.
Each sales associate I worked with was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I would definitely recommend this shop to other brides.
I just felt like myself when I put on my dress. Others that I tried on were beautiful but did not fit my style as well as the one I ultimately chose.
Bridal Beauty & Accessories
Yes, I purchased my veil from Angelica Bridal as well. It was a chapel length veil with flower and pearl details.
I had a handkerchief made by my grandparents that I held throughout the wedding. My shoes were white satin slingback pumps from Stuart Weitzman and my perfume was Jo Malone’s Wild Bluebell.
My bridesmaids each chose their own dress within a green color palette. We had a mix of different patterns and shades between the seven bridesmaids.
I wore small hoop earrings with pearls by Dinny Hall, that my parents gifted me. We picked them out together when they were in town from the US to help me choose my dress. It was a very special day with the two of them.
My hair and makeup was by Lauren Garfitt. She exceeded all expectations. She, along with 2 assistants, was able to manage 11 women getting both hair and makeup done – not a small feat! She was friendly, professional, and extremely talented. Everyone was so happy with their final looks!
The Ceremony
My dad walked me down the aisle to the sound of XO played by a string quartet, Chiqas Music.
We had our friend officiate our wedding. We didn’t write our own vows. We worked with our officiant to choose vows that felt authentic to us.
He personalised our entire wedding ceremony to represent us and our relationship.
Paul Tait at Harper Tait Jewellery designed my engagement ring and both of our wedding bands.
He was recommended by my husband’s coworker. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was helpful, knowledgable and never made us feel rushed.
Photography
Our photographer was Lee Allison. He was recommended by our wedding planner. Looking at his portfolio, we loved his ability to capture candid, special moments.
We liked that Lee’s were not overly-posed and he captured the essence and personality of the day and the couples. Day of, Lee was laid back and calm. We were blown away looking at the final photographs. He was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend him!
How They Met
Colby and I met April 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Our first date was at a local cocktail bar and we talked for over 5 hours. We knew pretty quickly we had a special connection.
We moved to London April 2022 and he proposed August 2022 in Menton, France while we were there on holiday. We were engaged for 14 months before our wedding in October 2023.
Colby wore a tuxedo from Suit Supply.
The Reception
Our florist was Hedges & Flowers. She did a beautiful job and we would highly recommend her. She repurposed our ceremony flowers for the reception and espresso martini tower, so we could enjoy the beauty all night.
We worked with Four Gables Events. Their food was delicious and each staff member was friendly and accommodating. We had so many compliments regarding our food and drinks.
Francesca Hall Art from New York designed our save the dates, invites and menus. Aisling Erin Designs did our place cards and table plan.
We did an espresso martini tower surrounded by our florals. This was a fun addition for decor and everyone loved drinking them!
Evening & Dancing
We hired Groove City Band and they exceeded all expectations. They learned three songs for our first dance, mother-son dance and father-daughter dance. They took recommendations for the set list and the dance floor was full all night.
Our first dance was ‘Find Someone Like You’, by Snoh Aalegra. This song has been one that we’ve sung along and danced to for many years. It was also playing when we got engaged.
Words of Wedded Wisdom
Don’t worry about the small stuff! The day is about you, your partner and celebrating your love. It is supposed to be fun! When the day came, I was not concerned about the small details. Trust your gut, make your decisions and move on.
