What makes the Margo Stankova wedding dress experience different than other designers and brands?

THE FIT - Margo has 20 years of experience in the bridal industry, designing and making dresses from scratch for private clients. A strong and functional corset yet delicate and comfortable to wear is the signature element of Margo Stankova designs. Measurements are taken during the first appointment and the finished dress is presented on the second appointment. Minimum to no alterations needed. THE TIMING - Her company logo is in the shape of a clock dial because the whole process of creating a dress is practised step by step so many times through the years, it is like a perfectly working machine. Every detail is taken in consideration. This makes the bridal experience stress and drama free, easy, quick, efficient, pleasant, memorable.

Can I have an unique bespoke wedding dress, designed and made for me and my body?

Every woman is a whole different universe - the style, the look, the mood, the energy. In our studio we not only encourage you to be yourself, we celebrate you. With the guidance of our talented designer Margo Stankova, you'll embark on a transformative journey that reveals the astonishing light within you. Together, we'll embrace your uniqueness and help you shine brightly. The collection pieces we have will be used as a base and reference to the new design during the initial appointment so no risk of surprises at the end. Margo loves a challenge so do not hesitate to be bold and brave.

When should I place an order in time for my wedding date?

As our wedding gowns are made to order, the usual turnaround time for gowns is 6 months and for accessories 4 weeks. The best time to book your appointment is 7 months before your wedding. This eliminates extra stress from the process and gives you time to consider your decision. The dresses tend to take 6 months to be finished (from the sourcing of fabric to delivery of the dress), and we prefer you to have your dress fitted 3 weeks before your wedding, to allow for alternations to achieve the perfect fit on the day. However, if your schedule doesn't allow the 6 months turnaround time, we are able to prioritise some orders and have the items ready earlier. This requires special arrangements, and a priority order fee of £300 is added to your order total.

What's the price range of Margo Stankova London ready-to-wear dresses and bespoke service?

The standard price range of our wedding gowns is £2000-4000 (most dresses are £2500), and accessories £150-600. Alterations are included. Kindly note our bespoke pieces start at £5000, and they are made according to your measurements and design preference. Every sale is final and payment non refundable regardless personal circumstances, in accordance to the UK law.

What size are your samples and can you mix sizes when placing an order?

Most of our sample dresses would be size UK 6-14. This means some samples might not be in your size but we have our ways to show you how the dress would look like on you by using clips, clamps and pins as a usual practice. Measurements are taken before placing an order just to establish which standard UK size is best to order. Depending on the design we can order top and bottom of a dress in different size. When this is not possible and for fully made to measure dress you'd need to order a bespoke garment.
