“From the first consultation to driving away with the dress, Jenny was an absolute joy to work with. She completely understood the vision I had in my head and it was so clear how well she knows and loves her craft that I never doubted that she could bring it to life….Each fitting was a 7 hour round trip but I’d have travelled even further to have her expertise, and it was always a treat to visit to her charming boutique and beautiful Bridgnorth. It was a real privilege to work with Jenny and wear one of her creations – I cannot recommend her more highly.” Sabia

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer virtual appointmemts?
I am very happy to offer the initial consultations as online virtual appointments if you are deciding wether a visit to Shropshire is right for you! I have worked with brides from all over the UK and Internationally and virtual appointments have helped with design consultations, measuring sessions and work in progress updates too!
How many fittings do I need to attend?
For all my brides I usually work over 3 to 4 fittings when making your outfit and I also offer a dressing lesson just before your wedding, so your designated dresser can have a practice run and remove the stress from the wedding day. This is also a lovely chance to see your whole bridal look together with many brides using this opportunity to test their hair and make-up choices too.
What happens if I change shape or have different ideas?
I work with brides of all shapes, sizes and ages and changing shape is a constant across everyone! This is why we have the fitting schedule planned for the run up to your wedding date. Each fitting is a chance to check the fit and shaping of your gown and is a collaborative process between my brides and me. They are fun and supportive fittings in a safe space where you can have your say about how your dress is feeling, the shape it gives you and the design details that you would like.
As you are seeing your outfit develop, you may well change your mind on the finishing details or want changes to the neckline or sleeve, for example. This is all part of the process and I will always work with you to create the outfit that you dreamed of!
How long does it take to have a dress designed and made?
I work with my brides to their timescales whenever I can. I like to start to make brides dresses / outfits 9-6 months before their wedding date, this way we can schedule the appointments in on the run up to their wedding day to ensure the perfect fit, this can be mean ordering a year before the wedding date to ensure I can fit you in my schedule.
Some brides have a shorter timescale than this and I will endeavour to work with them if my diary allows it.
Some brides want to start the design process with a longer lead in time, so the design element should be started whenever you feel ready.
