What got you in to wedding photography?
“I have always been into photography and shot lots of commercial stuff before ending up shooting my friends wedding and enjoyed the challenge and timescale to get the images that look great.
In a studio you’ve got bags of time, on a wedding you have to be quick and instinctive. Plus, I wanted to bring a new dynamic to the traditional English wedding photography…”
What do you enjoy most about shooting weddings?
“I always enjoy taking photo’s of people and what better day than a wedding day with all the excitement and surprise!. I love a all the emotion from the day.
And the Cake!”
Did Andrew mention he likes cake?!
How would you describe your signature style?
“I try to look to the American style of photography for ideas and adapt them with my own inspiration on the day; I mix different light sources and try to create cinematic images that are different, exciting and intimate…”
What’s the best piece of advice you could give to a couple in relation to their wedding photography?
“Try not to worry about anything on the day and remember that your the most important people there.
Concentrate on that and you will have a great day.
At the end of the day, if you have good support from your bridal party and the professionals you’ve employed, everything should fall into place…”
