Hello lovely ones. I hope the half term is treating you well whether you get a chance to stop and relax with loved ones or not. Today’s pairing Tiffany, an Application Support Engineer and Tristan, an Ecological Consultant were married in the gorgeous setting of All Saints Church, near their home and followed by a reception at Sulgrave Manor in Northamptonshire on the 19th of June. Photographed by the lovely Daniela of Ferri Photography, the confetti shot is perfect and there are so many beautiful ‘Share the Honest Love’ images throughout.
“We wanted a pretty, romantic, elegant and relaxed look and feel for the wedding, making the most of the outside space and greenery and luckily the weather was on our side!”

“I wanted fragrant and pretty, soft, cloud-like roses and peonies in pinks and peach. Pinterest helped me with shades of colours and Fabulous Flowers did a fantastic job – I was blown away when I saw our bouquets and the table centrepieces. They were a real focal point for the wedding breakfast. Tristan’s best man’s mum did the buttonholes and corsages for the wedding party using similar flowers.”
The couple enlisted Ferri Photography to capture their special day and were thrilled with the results.
“When we came across Ferri Photography we instantly loved Daniela’s soft, pretty style. She uses the greenery of the surroundings beautifully and makes the photos look so inviting. We thought the gardens offered some great photo opportunities for this and were so excited to have Daniela doing it. We had a pre-wedding shoot in gorgeous parkland in Northamptonshire, she really put us at ease and we got some fantastic photos that we put up at the reception.”
Tiffany chose her beautiful Enzoani gown with the help of her mum and sister who travelled two hours for each appointment and fitting.
“When I found my dress I loved the fitted shape but that it still had volume at the bottom with a big train of tulle (I think I always secretly wanted a big train!) When I saw it in the mirror the glistening from the sparkles won me over too.”
“We decided to get married in the area we now live. All Saints Church is really local to us and Tristan had previously worked there doing bat surveys (he is an Ecologist!). It’s within a country park too so we had been there before. It has an amazing feel to it being grand but still really humble. After meeting the Reverend Mike, Church Warden John and the other locals it was an easy choice for us, it felt special and welcoming.”
“Phil Braithwaite and Rabia Nasim are amazing musicians and really got people dancing with a great range of music. Our first dance was Tom Odell’s ‘Grow Old With Me’, the lyrics were just right.”
“I really wanted some touches of pinks and peach, mainly in the flowers. We kept the rest quite neutral with pale ivory lace bunting, jute banners and lots of candle holders I borrowed and already had. We included a subtle animal and bird theme too. I found some cute silver bird decorations that would hold a place card and doubled as our favours for people to put on their Christmas trees.”
“I walked down the aisle to Wagner’s Bridal March, it’s the only occasion you can have it! We chose 2 readings, ‘Song of Solomon 2.10-13; 8.6-7’ and ‘These I Can Promise’ by Mark Twain. I was also really excited to have the music from the film ‘UP!’ played during the signing of the register. Mandelson’s Wedding March walked up back up the aisle, it all sounded amazing and we loved the bells being rung while we mingled outside, it couldn’t have been better!”
“The best part of the day was the ceremony. The cars looked stunning and the journey to the church with my dad was really lovely, then hearing the bells as we arrived was so exciting. The music sounded fantastic as dad walked me down the aisle towards Tristan and seeing each other for the first time since the night before and saying our vows to each other while surrounded by our family and friends felt unbelievable.”
“We met through work and got together in 2007. Tristan got down on one knee in July 2014 while we were walking through the woods. We wanted to get married a summer wedding as soon as possible and so the praying for sunshine on 19th June began!”
The bride’s sisters looked fabulous in Coast dresses and the ladies rewore shoes and hair pins from each other’s previous weddings.
“We had the cards table outside under a tree along with big jars of sweets and photos of us and family weddings and a few lanterns hanging from the tree. We put candles on the picnic tables and all up the sides of the steps which all looked really pretty, especially when it got dark.”
“We got games of cricket and croquet going on the lawns at the reception which was great fun and got different groups of friends of all ages mixing together. Sulgrave also had a giant garden chess set that we used.”
The groom wore a blue Victor Valentine 3-piece with brown Loake Brogues.
“We were really impressed when we came across Victor Valentine. They make a suit to your specification and then tailor the fit. We loved the tan buttons against the navy and the texture of the suit looked gorgeous. To add a splash of colour we added Mrs Bowtie floral ties and pocket squares. They were exactly what we were after.”
“We chose Sulgrave Manor in Northamptonshire for our reception. We fell for the old buildings and stunning gardens, there are so many different areas to explore. We wanted an outdoor, elegant, relaxed feel to the wedding and this was the perfect setting for us. Meeting the staff was a real clincher too, their focus was on us and helping to make it as special as they could and in a completely relaxed way which suited the day we wanted perfectly.”
“We were lucky to have Wild Fork cater the wedding, originally thinking it was just a pipe dream! Chris was really helpful throughout the whole process and the food was just stunning. From start to finish they were simply incredible from service to taste.
Carly is one of my sister’s best friends and makes incredible cakes. I really wanted different textures on each tier and Carly made it stunning with big ruffles of roses on the bottom and lace, sparkles and pearls on the other tiers. The pink and peach colours were incorporated in the handmade roses on the cake too. It was delicious!”
Words of Wedded Wisdom
“Try not to become too obsessed with the likes of Pinterest in the planning stages! Go for what you both love and ultimately just enjoy the day, have fun and try not to worry about things. The day is about the two of you getting married so as long as that happens it’s a success!
We also hired a photobooth which was great for the evening. It really got people mixing and having a laugh and the photo book they provided has some great memories of the evening. They were brilliant!”
Congratulations to Tiffany and Tristan and thank you for sharing your day with us. Thanks also to Daniela of Ferri Photography to the stunning images.
