The Luella’s Boudoir Wedding Fair – One Marylebone, London, 20 + 21 March 2011…

Here's the thing.  What do you do if there are two really exciting wedding fairs taking place on the same weekend, in the same city? Why go to both of course!

I blogged on Saturday about The Wedding Sanctuary, taking place on Sunday 20th March and this afternoon, I'd like to share details about another event that is due to take place the same weekend (Sunday 20th and Monday 21st).  Luella’s Boudoir has teamed up with Cosmopolitan Bride Magazine for the second time, to host The Luella’s Boudoir Wedding Fair, at the beautiful, One Marylebone, in London.  A discount for purchasing tickets to both events is available – more details at the end of this feature.

Why not join the Luella’s Boudoir team for afternoon tea on Sunday 20th March, 12-5.30pm or come along with your mum and your maids, for an evening of fun and cocktails, on March 21st, 4-9pm!

Now, I'm very familiar with Luella’s Boudoir, having modelled (ahem! yes, me!) for them recently as part of the Big Fat Wedding Bloggers Photoshoot and I have to say, the products carried by this beautiful London bridal boutique are simply outstanding. The dresses that owner Rachel Attwell has in stock are some of the most beautiful out there. I would urge any Bride planning her wedding to consider attending this event for that purpose alone.

Rachel tells us more about this exciting event that is taking place in one of London's most prestigious venues…

"We will be joined by experts from Bespoke Events London and Hayford & Rhodes who will be decorating the venue in a gorgeous, vintage, floral style. Rhubarb Food Design, which will be offering you some delicious tea time treats, top London wedding cake designer Mich Turner, from the Little Venice Cake Company and the team from One Marylebone, who will be helping you to imagine just how stylish your day could be, at what is fast becoming, London’s Wedding venue of choice…"

Watch this video from the very first Luella’s Boudoir wedding fair that took place in April 2010 to get a flavour of what you can expect in March…

"This year the event is being held in support of the Eve Appeal, and we are supporting the “Make Time for Tea” campaign, helping to raise money for ovarian cancer research, by donating £2.00 for every ticket sold to the charity.

If you can attend this event, you can look forward to enjoying fashion shows presenting the latest wedding dress designs, exclusively available at Luella’s Boudoir by Charlotte Casedejus (a designer whose dress I was thrilled to wear on the Big Fat Wedding Bloggers Photoshoot!} Lisa Redman, Jaqueline Byrne, Caroline Atelier and “New” Aussie designer Johanna Johnson, who will be showcasing her stunning collection for the first time in the UK.  And this, I have to say, I am incredibly excited about!

See Luella’s own wedding dress and bridesmaids designs, together with gorgeous bridesmaids dresses by Buttonbelle (see below), flower girl dresses by Little Bevan and men’s suits by E. Chambers.
