A Jesus Peiro Wedding Gown for an Elegant London Bride…

Hi everyone 🙂

I've a beautiful set of photographs to share with you this afternoon that tick ALL the boxes when it comes to the checklist for a 'Love My Dress wedding'; understated chic? Check.  Elegant? Check.  A touch of the 'vintage inspired'? Check!

This is the wedding of Robin and Caroline, who celebrated their nuptials on 5 March this year with ceremony at The Swedish Church, Marylebone, followed by a reception at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), London, chosen by the couple of it's central London location, elegant spaces and art deco details.

The dress code was black tie and Caroline wore a Jesus Peiro gown from Morgan Davies Bridal – this is the first time a Jesus Peiro gown has made an appearance on Love My Dress and I'm extra delighted by that…

"I chose the dress for it’s clean lines and dramatic train, which looks as good down as bustled up. I also wanted a dress with a higher neckline and loved the weight of the silk mikado fabric…"

As usual, I love the warmth with which Photographer London and Kent Wedding Photographer Eliza Claire captures her subjects, even if her subject happens to be an antique telephone…

I would recognise these shoes anywhere – these are bespoke, handmade wedding shoes by Emmy

Caroline hired the wonderful Severin Hubert of Hepburn Collection to style her hair with a soft wave – a subtle nod to a vintage era. I LOVE Severin, he is such an incredibly talented (and very charming) Stylist – he styled my hair for the Big Fat UK Wedding Bloggers Photoshoot too 🙂

Caroline applied her own makeup on her wedding day, having taken a makeup tutorial at Mac on King’s Road

"We chose Pasi of Flor Unikon Florists in London, due to the beautiful presentation of his shop and because he is local to our area. We briefed him on a colour scheme of whites and creams with green foliage for a feeling of nature and allowed him to make the final decision on type of flower according to what was seasonal and therefore best value on his visit to market…"
