This is one for all you Boho Brides out there 😉
If you haven't yet picked up a copy of the latest issue of Wedding Magazine – you must. It is one of the best issues yet, and of course, yours truly has an 8 page report on The White Gallery from pages 147 onwards – where I talk about how the 1970's are currently inspiring today's bridal fashions.
I'm pretty big into the 70's right now (currently wearing my lovely low-cut, flared jeans) and so these photographs sent in by Kelly Green of Lola Rose Photography really grabbed my attention; we have a simply gorgeous 70's bohemian vibe going on with daisy chains, chiffon maxi dresses in beautiful block colour, oversized fans, and those gorgeous hats, never mind the sumptuous photography. With a formula like that, this was set to be a winning inspiration shoot all-round from the off.
"When I was asked to be involved in this 70's retro photo shoot I jumped at the chance!
Sheree Reynolds found me through Facebook and having recently opened her vintage boutique Something For Your Closet Vintage, she was keen to have some fabulous imagery to promote her new business.
Once we got talking I knew we had the same vision in mind – dreamy, sun kissed whimsical photos with a retro feel. The shoot took place in a beautiful meadow and all the clothes, props and accessories are authentic vintage and from the Something For Your Closet boutique.
This was such a fun & creative shoot and I can't wait to work with Sheree on the next one!"
