1950’s Screen Siren ~ Beautiful Bridal Accessories by HT Headwear…

Happy lunchtime my lovelies 🙂 Giving a quick shout out to the wonderful luxury giveaway currently residing over in this blog post – just in case you may have missed it.  Now, are you ready for a touch of 50's style glamour?

This wonderful little photoshoot is the result of a rather mischievous and fun afternoon spent in London, celebrating the glamorous and chic styling that emulates the screen siren look of the 1950's.  The photographs you see here, taken by Elizabeth Lois, are also to promote the wonderful new collection about to be launched by bridal headwear designer, Helena Talbot of HT Headwear

All the headwear and vintage jewellery seen in these images is supplied by HT Headwear and can be viewed here. Prices are at a very affordable £75-£185 and all headpieces can be tailored to your own look or requirements…

Helena of HT Headwear told me…

"The images you see here were captured by the very talented Elizabeth Lois.  I have worked with Lizzie a couple of times now and she is one of the most lovely ladies I have met.  She just ‘gets’ the look you want to achieve and is such a dream and so easy to work with.  My only regret is not having her to take my wedding photos in 2008!

Lizzie is offering all LMD readers an amazing 20% off her bridal packages so take a look at her website and take advantage of this super offer whilst it lasts!"

Isn't that an adorable little bird-cage veil headpiece below? Just so you know ladies, all veils on HT Headwear designs are completely detachable – leaving you with a perfect little headpiece to dance the evening away!

"The photo-shoot took place at the amazing Julies Restaurant in West London which has the most fabulous downstairs with small intimate private dining areas and a beautiful conservatory area, full of light and decorated with gorgeous twinkle lights!

Upstairs they have a really lovely room with stained glass windows and dark wooden furniture, a perfect setting for family gathering or wedding breakfast…"

Red shoes….how I love! I think a new law enforcing all Brides to wear at least a bit of red on their wedding day should be created. If it's not on their lips, it ought be on their feet! ;)  These little beauties below are by Hariet Wilde – who create shoes to kill and die for, frankly, and I love how Helena has paired them with a flash of bright red lipstick…

"Hair was styled by Cassandra Rizzuto, a super talented lady who is an absolute pleasure to work with and knew exactly what look would work for the shoot.  For makeup, Sophie Whimster created a glamorous 1950s feel.  Sophie is also super talented and a real eye for detail, crafting absolutely flawless makeup – she was such a delight to have on the team…"
