Hello folks ~ time for more pretty mood boards. This week I have combined two colours that I'm having something of a love affair with right now. Mint and lilac. We all know pastels are taking over everything from fashion to homewares, well I think they'd look fab at a wedding too. And combining these two colours gives you a rather grown-up and sophisticated take on the trend….as of course all Love My Dress readers undoubtably are.

Now I'm not saying head out there and dye your hair the sweetest shade of lilac ~ but hey what a bridal look that would be! Rather these are a combination of images to show you how well the two colours go together…Mint-and-Lilac

You could add accents of these colours in subtle ways:

from a pastel pop manicure for you and your maids, to gentle sweeps of eyeshadow to bring a little mint and lilac to your beauty look.
♥  Combining herbs and foliage in the softest green shades with delicate lilac blooms in your bouquet ~ finish off with lace or ribbon in the minty colour to really make it pop
♥  I really do love coloured glass bottles, these ones in purple are just gorgeous and an inexpensive way of adding colour to the tables at your wedding. Fill them with single stems of blooms, or even just stick to foliage.
♥  A floaty chiffon number in the most delicate shade of lilac, floating delicately on the breeze as you walk down the asile. Oh yes please, will a bride please wear this colour soon, pretty please?
