Good morning lovelies, we’ve been taking it easy on the blog this weekend and allowing ourselves some time to focus on important behind the scenes developments. That said, I’m very much looking forward to switching off today to be able to spend some time with my lovely little girls before they had back to school next week. In the meantime, I’m keen to share with you the latest designs and images from Britten Weddings.

Longer term readers might already be aware of my personal love affair with this wonderful company based in Bath, who have been designing the most elegant of handmade bridal accessories for five years now. The designer behind the brand, Sarah-Jane Britten, talks about these beautiful photographs, styled and captured by Gooch & Gawler, and why they are gracing the pages of Love My Dress® today.
“Our entire range, including wedding haircombs, wedding hair pins and wedding hair vines has been refreshed, following the launch of our new wedding earrings collection in December last year. The aim for every piece was pure bridal luxury; a blend of elegance with old style English craftsmanship.”

“We needed a photoshoot to live up to the new pieces, which include all new wedding headbands, wedding earrings and a sublime collection of wedding Veils, so as we have always done in the past, we turned to styling and photography team, Gooch & Gawler, to capture our new designs in their best light.”
I really adore the aesthetic of this new collection – elegant pieces that would look as good on a bride aiming for a luxury feel or more relaxed, bohemian vibe on her wedding day.
“Our new designs are boho and deco inspired, with contemporary twists. Unusually, we have a strong gold component to the collection this time, having noticed a real desire for this type of accessory from our bespoke brides.”
Britten Weddings have it covered no matter how late you’ve left it to add a beautiful accessory to your wedding day look. You can read more about their delivery and returns methods on this page.
“For last minute brides many items are available ‘next day’ and everything within a few days. Standard delivery is free to most of the world.”
The attention to detail with every handmade piece is second to none.
“As always every bead is hand stitched, every flower hand cut and every pattern hand drawn. We use only traditional craft and millinery techniques right here in our studio near Bath. We can only do this by selling direct to our wonderful brides, we love the feedback and reviews we get by working like this.”
The most beautiful earrings I’ve ever seen, they are even better than they look online. So beautifully made and the perfect addition to my jenny packham wedding dress! I was also impressed with the lovely packaging and handwritten note, it made them feel even more special. Now I need a hairpiece to match! (Prudence F, who purchased the Florence earrings in gold)
What beautiful images, I hope you agree? Just a little reminder at the end of this piece that we only ever promote businesses and companies to our readers who we know provide excellent products and services – down to every last little detail – including the packaging!
“Part of the experience is our luxury packaging, we want every part of the buying a Britten piece to feel amazing – heirlooms to be passed on deserve nothing more.”
