How many of you, may I ask, have your wedding shoes sorted yet? I’m pretty sure that most of our readers planning a wedding are the kind who would more than likely use their nuptials as an excuse to invest in a pretty new pair of heels. Come on girls, confession time. And in that case, are you aware of Rachel Simpson?
These photographs you see here today are never-seen-before images from Rachel’s very latest collection, where comfort is a the key focus – perfect for the bride who wants that little bit of added stature, sense of style and the ability to shine on the dance floor without feeling like she’s crippling herself.

We feature a lot of weddings on Love My Dress where the bride wore Rachel Simpson shoes. There’s got to be something in that, hasn’t there? What’s all the fuss about?
Well, aside from the fact they really are incredibly comfortable (I know because I own a pair), they are also so very lovely to look at! And that’s a fact. Think elegant scalloped edge metallic and pastel shades of leather with open toes and mid heels, art-deco motifs and flattering t-bars – just enough design detail to make the shoes feel quite special without going overboard. This is where form, function and fashion totally make out.
These are are shoes that could not only be worn on your wedding day but worn again and again afterwards (and, ladies, dressed up or down – with dresses or jeans). They’re beautifully versatile and incredibly pretty.
High-grade leather linings and carefully designed patterns, which both support and flatter the foot mean that this particular collection of wedding shoes offers range of stylish as well as comfortable options for the bride.
Forget the traditional ivory style bridal shoe. This collection focusses on two key colour palettes; ‘warmth’, which mixes rose, antique gold and blush pink hues – and ‘cool’, an on-trend fusion of soft grey, antique silver and pewter, with the subtlest hint of blue tones.
The collection retains its heavily vintage inspired styling with a definite late 1920s- early 1930s influence. The overall look however is more directional than Rachel’s previous collections – I think Rachel has designed a shoe with it’s origins in vintage but for the truly modern bride.
And I, for one, truly absolutely love it! There’s not a single pair of shoes on this page I wouldn’t like to own.

I love the shoes, but I don’t think they have made their way to the Rachel S website yet. Once they have, I will certainly be ordering a pair! x
ps – if you do know when they will hit the website, I would love to know, as I suspect I am starting to cut it fine before my first dress fitting – eek! x
So gorgeous and I love a pair of wedding shoes that you can wear again!!
Beautiful! Anyone have any thoughts on wearing peep toes for a winter wedding?
Seriously gorgeous wedding dresses!
