The Fox and The Mouse

Screen Shot 2015 10 20 at 13.53.28

It’s been a little while since I shared a film on Love My Dress, but this wonderful little wedding movie, sent in by filmmaker Adam Lyduch ended our little film fast in an instant.  The groom’s speech is wonderfully moving and I was really touched by Adam’s ability to so sensitively capture such dear and precious moments. The lovely bride leaves some super positive feedback for Adam below – and at Adam’s own request, we have affectionately referred to the couple as ‘The Fox and The Mouse’. I’ll not waste your time any further dear readers, but leave you with this beautifully crafted four and a half minute long film (even if you’ve had your lunch already, you could squeeze this one in over your afternoon tea break).

“Our film maker Adam Lyduch managed to capture the vibe of our wedding perfectly in this beautiful video. We wanted the day to be as personal as possible and all my family contributed enormously to the success of the occasion. My amazingly talented mum made my dress, and it was a real labour of love – she worked tirelessly on it throughout the months leading up to the wedding and it was an absolute privilege to wear it. My brothers played during the ceremony and reduced many people to tears, which was a theme that continued throughout my husband’s heartfelt speech.”

“Thankfully, having such a wonderfully supportive family around us both, we were not disenchanted by family politics and obligations over who to invite; as such we had a very intimate wedding with people we genuinely wanted to celebrate with.

When you work so hard in the preceding months to plan every last detail and try and get your ideas to materialise, it is difficult to relinquish that control on the wedding day itself. However, I didn’t get too absorbed in trying to micro-manage everything, and just relaxed and enjoyed it all. I think the laughter and enjoyment that is epitomised in this video portrays just how happy we both were to become man and wife.”

Just beautiful. Thank you so much Adam for sharing this with our readers today.
