Hello, on this damp and somewhat dreary Saturday morning – I hope you will get a chance to relax over the weekend but right now you might like to grab your beverage of choice and take a few minutes to look through this most stylish wedding.
Lucy, a beauty therapist and Paul, a street works inspector were married on the 18th of July 2015 at Warbrook House and Grange in Eversley, Hampshire. The couple asked the lovely Kylee Yee to be their photographer. Her work captures the raw beautiful emotion of the bride and groom from large grins to loving exchanges in a series of beautiful images.
“I like a project so we did as much as we could ourselves, from the decorations to the bouquets. We wanted a relaxed but stylish wedding and pinterest was a great help.”

Lucy wanted pretty but wild looking flowers. Instead of hiring a florist, Lucy got creative and made the blush bouquets, buttonholes and table arrangements herself using flowers from The Range.
The couple chose the wonderful Kylee Yee Photography, to capture their day. I love the playfulness in the couple’s portraits.
“We love Kylee and her work. She’s just like her photos, elegant, kind and pretty.”
Bridesmaids gowns by twobirds
We are proud that twobirds are a member of our Little Book For Brides
The bride wore the amazing Eden by Jenny Packham in platinum, a definite personal favourite of my own, the dress is absolutely stunning on her and teamed with a simple single tier chapel length veil and crystal headband, the dress speaks for itself. Later on she went for a more relaxed look with a homemade flower crown.
“I purchased my dress from Exquisite Bridal Couture in Winchester. I loved that it was a bit different, I loved all the embellishment and bronze tones to the dress. I’m hoping I can wear this dress again one day!”
We love it when the groom rivals the bride in the style stakes! This fashion-forward Groom wore a velvet burgundy jacket and check trousers from Topman, a Noose and Monkey Waistcoat with Barker brogues and a vintage pocket watch.
Paul’s best men looked just as dapper in burgundy chinos and grey waistcoats from Moss Bros.
“My uncle has a gorgeous old gunmetal grey Jaguar which was perfect for our wedding and having him drive us was very special!”
Paul’s Auntie is a vicar so having a church ceremony was very important and special to them. Lucy walked down the aisle with her dad to ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri.
“My favourite moment of the day was walking down the aisle, I was just so excited to see Paul at the top.”
“I love rose gold so I chose a Le Vian ring from Ernest Jones. Paul decided on rose gold too and got his from Beaverbrooks.”
“A friend made our wedding cake. We had a larger walnut and carrot cake on top with an assortment of different flavoured cupcakes below.”
“We had chocolate lolly pops, pink lips for girls and moustaches for the boys as favours. My mum was in charge of this and made them for us.
We did a lot ourselves, including the stationery. The Range has a great wedding section especially for DIY weddings.”
Words of Wedded Wisdom
“The only advice I have for a bride-to-be is to do and have whatever you want. Don’t worry about what anyone else wants, the only people that matter on that day are the bride and groom. Enjoy every second it goes so fast!
If I could change anything I would have had two days off prior to the wedding day instead of one,, to really embrace every moment and to just enjoy the lead up. I also would have kept my veil on for longer.”
Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Brooks, and thank you so very much Kylee for sharing these beautiful images with Love My Dress.
Ladies, you can see many, many more brides wearing Jenny Packham right here on Love My Dress.
